Agreed. Honestly to take it a step further, I’ve lost my faith in the decency of my fellow Americans and America itself as a government. It’s so corrupt, so compromised, has gone so far towards Fascism, and it’s people are so FUCKING COMPLACENT that I no longer agree that we are the “land of the free and home of the brave.” The idiot sheeple who populate this cattle corral aren’t free nor do they wish to be. I disagree, they just want to do "the right thing". Their problem is they are kind of like children and have to be told what "the right thing" is.

In my view, most lefties want to do good, but they don't spend a lot of time thinking about what they are told is "good" is actually good. They are generally trying to do the right thing.

I don't think parents have much obligation to their children with regard to being who they are. They have an obligation to raise their children to compete in the world and to support them until adulthood.
