Under no circumstances should anyone call an election a landslide in favor of the guy who got fewer votes.

First off it wasn't a landslide no matter how you look at it. It was among the closer electoral counts of the last 8 elections. Second--ignoring the actual vote count in a Democracy is idiotic. Pretending that there was some sort of mandate for a candidate that lost the raw vote count is beyond hilarious.
