Gentle Reader,

We can start with our old, insane, incontinent, President Pouty Poo not fucking with NK's fat, corrupt, pedophiliac, "I'm a nasty fucktard lunatic." Kim "illin in the junk" Jong-un. That would be a great start.

Next, let's see if we can stop them flinging fresh scat at each other like they're current residents of Monkey Island at the Audubon Zoo.

Finally, if we can't get them to stop, then let's actually ensconce them in their own island where they can do this for real. It'll keep them occupied and busy in between mutual sexual encounters. No, I don't want video or pix. What has been seen cannot be unseen.

Regards,
Roidy

What is a sane U.S. policy toward NK

It's really simple. Either the NK's destroy their nukes under our supervision, or we destroy it for them, along with their regime. The latter is preferred.

We can leave Kim alone, but he can't afford to leave us alone. He can't feed his people or keep his regime in power without regular infusions of cash from the world. Since his country is so universally despised, he ain't getting much charity. So he has to rely on extortion to get the cheddar. Give him money or he lets his rockets fly!
If Trump accepts this deal, just like Clinton and Bush II and to a lesser extent Obama, he just appeases a bully and allows him to grow stronger still.

Technology is rapidly outpacing measures to maintaining order. It's easier every year for a rogue regime to cause lasting harm to the world and its citizens using the lever of technology. I fully expect a genetically-edited virus to be released Somewhere fairly soon. It's just too easy to create them, and CRISPR machines that edit DNA (or RNA in the case of viruses) are comparatively cheap and widely available.
