Trump revealed highly classified information to Russian foreign minister and ambassador
By Greg Miller and Greg Jaffe May 15 at 5:01 PM
President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State.

The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said.

The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency.

“This is code-word information,” said a U.S. official familiar with the matter, using terminology that refers to one of the highest classification levels used by American spy agencies. Trump “revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies.”

It's nice seeing all the Democrats who thought it was no big deal that our former Secretary of State had her emails on an unsecured server (and Anthony Weiner's computer) - are all serious about protecting our secrets now.

""It is all kind of shocking.  Trump seems to be very reckless, and doesn’t grasp the gravity of the things he’s dealing with, especially when it comes to intelligence and national security. And it’s all clouded because of this problem he has with Russia.  Trump revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies."

His fat ass and administration is coming apart at the seams and it's just over 100 days for the incompetent con fucking artist.

HE'S REALLY THIS STUPID AND INCOMPETENT AND FRAUDULENT.

This article is pure spin. You gotta stop trusting these anonymous leaks.

"... said H.R. McMaster, the national security adviser, who participated in the meeting. “At no time were any intelligence sources or methods discussed, and no military operations were disclosed that were not already known publicly.”"

Yeah i choose to trust the person who puts his name on a statement.

Anonymous sources expressing vague ideas regarding how bad he/she thinks trump is... This type of leaking has a very poor track record of accuracy.

Yo fucknuts Trump isn't Obama Bin Laden, and Russia is an Ally to stamp out the ISIS surge Obama created.
I hope they are sharing information. Boston Marathon would have been avoided has Obama not been such a fucking Chickenshit bastard and acted on the intelligence given by Russia on the Tarnav's on several occasions. And a few other so called domestic terrorists that the Obama administration said didn't get radicalized abroad.

“Gov. Romney, I’m glad you recognize al-Qaida is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what is the biggest geopolitical group facing America, you said Russia, not al-Qaida,” Obama said. “You said Russia. And the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back. Because the Cold War has been over for 20 years. But Governor, when it comes to our foreign policy, you seem to want to import the foreign policies of the 1980s, just like the social policy of the 1950s, and the economic policies of the 1920s.”

What do you think this shared "information" is about?

Couldn't be ISIS or other Islamic Fascists?

Does the US share secret information with other countries? Yep. Including non-Allies? Yep. Routinely, in fact.

Also, which officials? How do I know the fanatically anti-Trump, pro-unelected Deep State WaPo didn't make it up?

1000s of emails were placed on Weiner's computer, the same exact one he used to sext people on. Comey's FBI said it was "Syncing" but that doesn't matter. AFAIK, The kid in the Navy never even sent the handful of pictures he took to anybody and got dishonorably discharged with prison time.

Platte River Networks had no federally mandated approval (none) to host sensitive or classified State emails, period, no ifs, ands, or buts, end of story. "Stonetear" was clearly identified as soliciting information for reddit on how to change MS Headers of behalf of a "Household name client" within hours of the agreement to hand over Hillary's emails.

McCabes wife got hundreds of thousands of donations due to Terry McAuliffe to run at exactly the same time McCabe was 'investigating' the Hillary emails. That's a fact, not opinion.

And of course Podesta's late filing of receiving around a million bucks from the same entity Manafort did, the latter was investigated so let's investigate the former.

These are all facts, not opinion, excellent basis for an investigation.

Contrast this with the Trump claims that have nothing going for them at all.

"President Trump revealed "highly classified information" to two top Russian officials during a controversial Oval Office meeting last week, according to a report from The Washington Post."

The Washington Post! Ha ha ha. What a rag. Fake news maximus.

Trump decided it was ok to reveal a classified ISIS plan. It is his prerogative as president to do that... but was it the right decision?

This is almost impossible to answer honestly from our limited perspective. Anyone who says they know exactly what you should think about this is lying to you. Be vigilant and keep an open mind.

Three people in the room for certain: Tillerson, McMasters, and Dina Powell.

Anybody else?

How about those meeting summaries, maybe one "unique" copy ended up at the desk of an Obama holdover or former Bush admin re-appointee? Delicious Barium Meal.

3. Counter factuals emerge, story quickly is crushed by the weight of it's own bullshit.
4. Story fades away rapidly.
5. Fake News seeks the next fake story to hype.

Is that what you like best about Trump? When he acts as Hillary does?

23   FNWGMOBDVZXDNW   2017 May 16, 6:48am

I'm suffering from Trump fatigue. The pace of stupid fuckups and every shifting stories coming from the White House is mind blowing. Trump is right about one things. The pace of activity is too high for mere humans on his press team to keep up. Every time they start a sentence, they must be wondering if things will change by the time they get to the end of it.

You are drowning in bullshit. Here's a lifeline - or a warning anyway.

The rag proven correct again. Maybe you ought to reevaluate your critical thinking skills.
