What does matter is Republicans will get the blame
if things don't improve.
You forget about Trump's con artistry skills. Remember the republican convention when Trump told us how terrible everything is ? Crime is the worst it's been ever ! Cities are major hell holes. Unemployment is actually 30% and the jobs that have come in the Obama years are all low paying jobs.
This sets it up for him to constantly tell us how much everything is improving. By the time the 2020 election rolls around he'll be describing things as they actually are which is a heaven versus hell comparison to how he described 2016 (even though things will actually be worse on many fronts.).
Bottom line: Lying comes in handy for all politicians, but Trump is operating at an entirely different level.Never discount what the TPBs and T-Lips of the world want to (and are willing to) believe.
Where are all the good paying jobs created by MAGA?
It doesn't matter how these people got here. What does matter is Republicans will get the blame
