2. Liberals have been denouncing Obama for sixteen years. What more do you want?
3. The problem is that law enforcement, including border control, is given too much discretionary power. There should be little to no discretion in law enforcement. Discretion is arbitrary, ego-oriented abuse of power that has nothing to do with actual enforcement of law. Liberals have always been against discretionary powers of government.
4. The left is a conservative tribe. The are the opposite of liberals just like the right is.

The key word being "top". Are you really so naive as to believe that the president of the United States personally oversees every single border crossing? I guarantee you that Obama did not have any input whatsoever on any border crossing, nonetheless this particular one. I hate to break this to you, but the person holding the presidential office is always a very busy person. Every minute of his day is scheduled out often weeks and months in advanced. There is no way Obama was even informed about the incident you are complaining about.

Yes, it's a very bad thing that the border agents can, for pure shits and giggles, prevent border crossings of people they just don't like or when they just want to be dicks. However, the problem is with the low-level grunts, not with the president. Obama did not create the border control system. He has not materially changed it. Even if he wanted to materially change it for the better, the Republican-controlled Congress would not let him. Hell, he couldn't even get real health care reform passed or even gun-control legislation that 99% of the U.S. population supported. He's hardly a dictator.

It's not too complex. It's just plain silly.

There are plenty of things to deride Obama about that he is actually responsible for such as keeping open torture centers like Gitmo and Abu Ghraib, drone strikes killing innocent civilians including pregnant women and children, the war on drugs, and secrecy in trade agreements that devastate the middle class. There is absolutely no reason to make up shit about Obama.
