Shhhhhhhh ! Haven't you heard ? Racism and xenophobia are the new political correctness. That is, the new political correctness requires extreme denial that these were huge factors in Trump's election. Not liking so called liberal identity politics is just one side of the Trump voter. The other side is the ugly side, we don't want to talk about. We say things like, "he tells it like it is, " or, "I like the way he speaks his mind."
SOme people are looking for new news sources that got the memo on the new political correctness. Because, you know, the NYT and PBS obviously didn't.
