National Press Club, only place to get the complete, transparent truth.
"I don't think the voters pulled the lever in order to endorse the candidates flaws."
But they will vote for flawed candidates.
Brilliant logic!
Thought I was the dullest knife in the draw.
"..we judge the leadership of our country to have failed."
All the elected officials armed themselves and took over the govt.
At least they weren't D & R assholes.
Poor Pete!
Unemployed, lost his home to foreclosure, living in his car, can't move to get an outsourced job,
can't get a $100,000,000 loan at zirp, stuck on a ACA plan, conscripted & being sent to the middle east to protect america.
Pass the hat to help him out.
Be back soon to point out more delusions.
So, you want to take your nation back for whom? Murray Rothbard's damned soul and racial division? Yeah, you guys are the opposite of the American Way. You probably also agree with Rothbard that children can be starved to death. After all, that is the libertarian way!!!
Saying that Murray Rothbard if of any importance in this election is absurd. Mimi Eisenhower or Pee Wee Herman has more to do with it.
It's funny, but I'm not so sure the connection between Rothbard and anything going on in this cycle is even one tenth of a spider's thread tenuous.
Thunderlips Russian Agent 0069 says

Trump believes in the same racial division that Rothbard believed in. He was sued for racial discrimination by the government and I am sure he wants payback. He is Rothbard, only he rapes instead of starves children. Rothbard, as I said before, sells books like hotcakes even though he is deceased.
There's plenty more where Trump came from.
This doesn't end on November 8th regardless of outcome.
tsk tsk tsk...
Thought I was the dullest knife in the
drawdrawer.
If one is taking a knife from a drawer, then they draw a knife?
If they draw me,they they end up dull.
Poetic license strikes again?
A direct quote, when he's talking about how bubbles form:
"whenever there is a hard problem but people want to believe in an easy solution they'll be tempted to deny reality and inflate a bubble."
Isn't that kind of the story of the Trump bubble ?
He needs work on doing a teleprompter speech.
I believe that his best argument is about the wars we are involved in. But I also believe that when Hillary is elected, she will be fully aware of the fact that both Bernie and Trump supporters had that point of view, that the people want us to focus more on domestic issues and involve ourselves in less wars. .
These things are not simple though. If we withdraw from the world and let it figure out it's issues without us, where does that leave us 50 or 100 or 250 years down the line ?
MAybe this does boil down to those who see the U.S. as a guiding power as we transition toward a world government (which some would argue is necessary - and mustn't happen too late), versus those who say we must isolate ourselves and hope for the best with the rest of the world.
This is not a very different from some of the most lucid analysis of the mainstream media:
"The decision by U.K. voters to leave the EU is such a glaring repudiation of the wisdom and relevance of elite political and media institutions that — for once — their failures have become a prominent part of the storyline. Media reaction to the Brexit vote falls into two general categories: (1) earnest, candid attempts to understand what motivated voters to make this choice, even if that means indicting their own establishment circles, and (2) petulant, self-serving, simple-minded attacks on disobedient pro-Leave voters for being primitive, xenophobic bigots (and stupid to boot), all to evade any reckoning with their own responsibility. Virtually every reaction that falls into the former category emphasizes the profound failures of Western establishment factions; these institutions have spawned pervasive misery and inequality, only to spew condescending scorn at their victims when they object."

I wonder if any of the critics in the second category, think that pro-leave voters made an ill informed and detrimental choice without being "petulant, self-serving, and simple-minded."
This paragraph is just as biased but in the direction opposite of those category 2 people.

Amazingly spot-on. Thanks for posting that @Heraclitusstudent
BTW I think Peter Thiel is also spot-on. He's not a great speaker, but his points are clear and hard to refute.

Detrimental for whom?
You can't make a system that destroy the wealth of 50% of the population and say "this is the best in aggregate", where aggregates masks the fact that only a few narrow categories benefit from that system.
In a democracy these people will make sure you feel their pain at the ballot box. (And this in any other system they may well come and kill you).
