Actually, mell, I don't think Trump is a proper racist in that he doesn't have the requisite coherent thought to qualify. He has some indeterminate pathological condition which, when combined with his general lack of intelligence, makes him unable to reflect on characteristics of individuals other than himself and his family. As a socio-political creature he seems to be a Oligar-pluto-narcissist of below average IQ suffering from a variant of Asperger's disease. There is some sociopathic element in there which allows him to flip-flop between parties and positions without hesitation and still believe he is consistent and correct.
