A Texas teen lost her job at a Dallas area pizzeria before she even started when she trashed the gig in a tweet that her prospective boss spotted.

“Ew I start this f*** a** job tomorrow,” Twitter user @cellla_ tweeted on Friday regarding her new job at Jet’s Pizza in Mansfield, along with a string of emojis depicting seven thumbs down.

But the worker was served up a cold slice of reality when another Jet’s employee showed the missive to franchise owner Robert Waple. He responded to the young girl with a tweet of his own.

“No you don't start that FA job today! I just fired you! Good luck with your no money, no job life!” @Robertwaple tweeted on Saturday, using his account for the first time since signing up for the social media service in 2009.

The public firing didn’t seem to bother Cella, who tweeted out her joy over being fired on Twitter.

“I got fired over Twitter,” she said.

Waple tweeted out a second message to Cella which has since been deleted according to reports.

“Working register, taking phone orders, making subs/salads. Eating free pizza. How hard would that have been?” he said in the tweet.

Some questioned the validity of Waples' account, but Cella confirmed the message was legitimate in yet another tweet.

Waple's pizza shop is a franchise of Jet's Pizza, which has nearly 400 locations in 18 states.

"The location in question is an independently owned and operated franchise store. Jet’s America, Inc., as the franchisor, cannot dictate the employment practices or decisions of independently owned and operated franchise businesses," a spokeswoman for Jet's Pizza's corporate office said in a statement provided to FoxNews.com.

"Nevertheless, Jet’s regrets to see the manner in which this situation has been handled by the parties involved."

The teen has become something of an instant celebrity after news of the incident went viral. Since Friday, she has amassed nearly 4,000 followers.

I've never bought a house because of the bubble, but my stock investments have done tremendously well, far better than any house, and all without timing because I follow the Vanguard approach of investing steadily and holding onto the S&P 500 index fund while minimizing costs. It's not sexy and I won't become a billionaire from stocks, but I will outperform over half of the investments (measured by money) by mathematical definition as the S&P 500 index pretty much represents the U.S. stock market as a whole.

I'm glad you did some things right in life.

What I've done in my life isn't rocket science. It's something that every young adult can and should do. Granted, a large part of my success is that I've been fortunate to have awesome genetic code that allowed me to be more intelligent than most people and thus I had a huge advantage in the tech industry, but you don't have to be intelligent to succeed in America. Every person has some talent. You just have to find out what talents you have, which ones can translate into a useful service to society, and which ones you enjoy using. Once you find a match, you just have to work hard at developing your talent and practice fiscal discipline living within your means. You won't become a billionaire by doing this, but you will probably be financially secure.

I'm glad you are successful, I really am. Stop boasting, you are beginning to sound like Donald Trump.

Dan8267 says

A job at McDonald's is not going to prepare you for a career.

I absolutely disagree. If you can handle a fast food job as a teen, you have proven you can work hard, be responsible, and handle the crap that comes your way.

Dan8267 says

There is no shame in taking a job simply to pay the bills

So stop criticizing a 17 year old girl for that, especially when you admitted having done mediocre jobs.
I respect people who do what it takes to make a living, don't commit crimes, and show responsibility and concern for others.

Quote where I criticized the young woman in the article. Oh you can't because it didn't happen. Offering advice is not even remotely the same thing as criticizing.

Call it Crazy says

Dan is a Gen Xer

Dan lives in an apartment and pays rent

He doesn't own a house so he's not building any equity by paying rent

He drives a 10 year old car

He doesn't have a wife or girlfriend

He doesn't have any kids

He has investments and cash

Dan lives in a house and the money he's made in the S&P 500 Index fund, Vanguard, is greater than what he spends on rent and would have gotten as a return on a house. Stocks out-perform housing always in the long-term.

Dan owns stocks and reinvests the income. So he is building equity, just in a profit generating asset as opposed to a depreciating asset.

Actually, my car is a 2007 Volvo C70, so I was slightly off with the age as it's only 8 years old. I rounded since I don't obsess over my car like you do and the exact age didn't seem important. However, driving an old car -- am I the only one who doesn't think 10 years is old for a car -- is hardly a negative factor. It shows prudence in buying and I'll be happy with driving the same car my entire life since it's a great car. Still, the only thing you got close to right are the two things I've stated on this site: my car and my generation. That's a pretty shitty batting average.

I don't have a wife and I don't want one. Measuring success by whether or not a person is married is just plain stupid, especially in this day of horrible divorces. I do, however, have a very active love life, but I find no reason to share that with you. As for kids, I have chosen to not pursue them. I am very content with my nieces and any other children my siblings will have. If my genes aren't passed on to the next generation, that's my species's lost, not mine. Still, every human being shares over 99.9% of their genetic code with every other human being, so I'm not strongly compelled to put less than 0.1% difference dissolved to 1 to 4 (number of children) parts per 7 billion (population of Earth).

Dan has lots of investments and cash. Being financially secure is one aspect of success. I'd hardly consider it the only one, but it is important.

Now, let's contrast with you, a petty, despicable excuse for a human being who seeks validation by trolling websites. That's pretty sad.

You were just telling us how smart and successful you were. Your choice of words don't show any success.
Allow me to explain your claims.

Oh, I pissed off the troll. Look at him come out from his cave.

Strategist says

Because no one gave you credit.

I have a credit card and I pay it off before any interest accrues. Basically, I use it as electronic cash. With the exception of my first car loan, I have never paid interest on anything, and I paid my 5-year car loan off within 9 months. Since then I've never had any reason to go into debt. Tell me, are you proud of being in debt?

Dan8267 says

- no unemployed periods

Because you weren't looking for a job.

As usual, the conservative trolls are idiots. I have no unemployed periods despite doing contracting for pretty much my whole career because I look for the next job while doing the current one. I have opportunities lined up before I complete a project. And yes, I've written myself out of many jobs by doing such a damn good job that I was no longer needed. It's called having work ethics. A software contractor goes into a project, completes it ahead of schedule and without flaws, and then is no longer needed. However, he gets great references and can go on to the next project.

Actually in U.S. dollars. Are you jealous of my success?

Strategist says

Dan8267 says

- productive member of society

Selling drugs is not productive.

1. Tell that to all the pharmaceutical companies.
2. I made my living building the Internet, not selling drugs. That was a pretty lame accusation to make.

Dan8267 says

- enjoy family and friends

Who doesn't?

Unfortunately, quite a few people.
