Yeah for sure it used to be better. But that shit takes too long to cook...and even then not many people know how to make it taste good. When i think American I think burgers and brats. I make mean burgers and brats. But nobody else I know does, restaurant or other. Therefore, if I'm not BBQing myself, I prefer a burrito (authentic only) or Kung Pao Chicken (authentic or not haha)

I don't think so at all. They are more reserved at work, or if you are an acquaintance or co worker. But if you know them, they not only laugh at what you say, but get the concept of your humor, and play off it as the situation calls for. They react and respond to humor very well, even if they aren't one to initiate humor.

I mean come on, Asian culture is a lot of slap stick. There's a Moe like pecking order, where respect is commanded with a slap to the back of the head. When someone isn't showing enough respect. It's done more lighthearted than an angry throw down threat.

It's a reoccurring theme from Indonesia all the way up to China.

Another trait I think is awesome, is the notion that a Real Man would never resist a woman's plea that is crying. It can be an Oscar performance.

American food is Corn on the Cob, Corn Bread, Biscuits, Home fries, Hoppin John, Meat Loaf, the Classic American Thanks Giving Turkey(the Diner Standard thought out North America), BBQ Chicken, BBQ Ribs, BBQ Brisket, American Coffee(thanks to the Peculator, and Auto Drip Coffee makers), Baked Macaroni & Cheese(the casserole old school version not that boxed stuff), I would list other stuff but it's pretty common through out all European countries as well. Like the standing Prime Rib roast, is pretty much the same from America to Europe.
I went to a Canadian Frenchie Reastaruant one time, and had their prime rib, side vegtables with bacon, onions and butter in it, Ajus on the meat, gravy on the potatoes.
My God I had no Idea my Mom was a top French Chef.

Even the American classic Vegetable Soup is based on Italian Minestrone soup.

And as I have discovered since Marrying a Peruvian, Potatoes and Carrots are the perfect Peruvian ingredients for a Braised beef, by any other name, you would swear was just good old fashioned Beef Stew.
