These are kids. Regardless of whose kids they are, we have to take care of them. My question is, if these are Mexican kids, why not just turn them over to the Mexican authorities? The kids are their responsibility.

Has anyone even confirmed that $50 million amount or is that just what the corporate media ran with? The Texas government awarded them an under $6 million contract before for their services, so, while the operating costs are probably not insignificant for this kind of facility, I'm wondering if that's the total contract as opposed to an annual number:
