They are trying to convince the sellers many of who still think it's sellers' market ! A big shift in favor of buyers has just started.
Anyone who has any thoughts of entering the housing market now, definitely needs singing lessons. Here's your first song to practice :
"It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
It's time to meet the muppets
On the the muppet show tonight
It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain
On the muppet show tonight"
Went to several open houses today in Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills area. Two of the homes were being shown by "partners" of the listing agent. Both homes seemed overpriced and ironically both realtors agreed that the homes are way overpriced. I have never seen realtors admit this. One mentioned that the house he was showing likely wouldnt sell unless it was 200K cheaper. It seemed like they were embarrassed to be show a house with such a high asking price. They literally could not justify the price. They also both mentioned how there is a huge shift from favoring sellers to buyers now.
Anyone have similar experiences lately? I have spoken to many agents in the past year or so and I have yet to come across this...
