The latest news on U.S. educational attainment is depressing enough, since American kids are falling even further behind their counterparts in other countries. The implications may be more troubling still, because we clearly need an Obamacare-style effort to fix a broken education system.....

An obama cares solution, to the education crisis?

Clearly the problem is that the children have trouble paying attention. Ppaca will help fix this as millions more children will now have access to ritalyn and adderrall, to help with their methamphetamine deficiencies.

There is an epidemic and narcotics is the only solution. ADD and ADHD are very real, they are not just some made up nonsense propaganda that big pharma uses to help make parents feel better about drugging the high hell out of their children, with addictive and dangerous pharm grade crystal meth

SAY YES TO DRUGS

Of course. Insurance companies, which are buying hospital corporations, can also buy schools. Then, raise the tuition to unaffordable levels, then demand subsidies for poor families while making middle class children sign student loan deals guaranteed by their parents.

Drug companies should also be encouraged to buy schools, so the children can become even more of a captive market. Perhaps instead of experimenting merely with psychotropic Rx drugs, the little lab rats can be made to test other drugs too. Even if the drugs are primarily for boomer problems (arthritis, cholesterol etc.), the children can at least be used for safety studies. If little Johnny's arms fall off, they'll grow back, right?

I honestly thought this had to be a joke when I first read the headline. Sadly, he is dead serious.

Bring middle class jobs back.
Make education worth something again.

"I propose we mandate private schools, if you like your school, nothing will change. And for those millions of Americans that can't afford a private school for their kids, they will get federals subsidies. Millions of kids who don't have access to private schools will get the education they need.

...and wont cost anyone one single dime! "

Sort of makes "seeing Russia from my house" seem like sagely advice from an Oracle doesn't it?
