A recently released surveillance video shows a Dallas police officer shooting a mentally ill man four times. The victim, 59-year-old Bobby Gerald Bennett, showed no threat of force, but the police officer claimed that Bennett had walked toward him and his partner with "a knife raised in an aggressive manner." The incident occurred after Bennett's mother called police for help dealing with her mentally ill son.
