The calculator assumes 3% annual salary growth, a 10% annual investment, a 4.1% inflation-adjusted annual return on investment and a retirement age of 65. Fees are based on the average expense ratio of all plan options offered by an individual employer.

Interesting. I didn't fill in the 'company name' field. I dialed the annual salary down to the minimum 30K - wow, Walmart Inc' was automatically entered into the 'company name' field. Now that is what I call real Brand Recognition.

Odd. There can't be a single person making that much at a Walmart. Maybe the store manager of a top-producing door?

Forgive my laziness--it's CNN junknews afterall--but does this calculator account for employer match? Maybe it's in the fine print, but I just assume CNN wouldn't have a very elegant methodology.
