Among Republicans, I mean. We'll hear the usual BS about the Liberal Media rigging polls, Bussed in Homeless People, Voter Intimidation by Scary Black Guys, etc. etc.

Frank Rich says the Republicans will do what they've always done: Blame it on not being Conservative Enough.
http://www.salon.com/topic/mitt_romney/

I think the Evangelicals will blame the Heretic Mormons. I think the Big Business Republicans will blame the Evangelicals for not supporting a Republican enough because he was a Mormon.

What do YOU think?

Whichever major party loses, internal factions will allocate blame based on their own interests. The existing parties are large patronage networks, and their first instinct will be to say that they did everything right and to blame outsiders. Similarly, whichever side wins, some internal factions will claim credit to make themselves seem powerful by using PR to pay journalists to credit them with victory.

Each major party has its own rationalizations for why it should be allowed to exercise power over the other. Democrats like to think they are smarter than Republicans, so Democrats feel entitled to rule because the Republicans are too stupid to know what's good for them. Republicans like to feel morally superior, so they claim they should rule because those immoral and indolent Democrats are too weak to do what's good for them. Either way, the bottom line is 'we should wield power over them, it's for their own good.'

Consider two issues: healthcare and marriage. Most Americans don't support ObamneyCare, but Democrats insist on coercing you into it because they say it's for your own good. Most Americans do support marriage equality, including same-sex couples, but Republicans insist on opposing it because Newt Gingrich and Sheldon Adelson want to feel morally superior. If Democrats lose, it will probably be because of ObamneyCare, but acknowledging that would threaten their patronage network, so they will blame Republican voter suppression. If Republicans lose, it will probably be because of social issues, but that would threaten their "Christian" Coalition so they will blame ACORN and imaginary illegal immigrant voters. The opposite side of blame is credit. If Republicans win, the "Christian" Coalition will pay journalists to write stories claiming the victory resulted from (a) religious fundamentalists voting their religion (as they usually do) and/or (b) God's will; in reality it will be due to the economy and ObamneyCare. If Democrats win, the ObamneyCare patronage networks will pay journalists to claim it was because of healthcare, when in reality it will be because of social issues and Romnesia being a horrible candidate.

Either way, America loses, and each major faction will blame the other.

I blame HuffPost and MSNBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, PBS, and all MSM. Additionally, I blame the stupidity of 47% Americans who are uninformed, easily swayed, persuaded and manipulated by leftist propaganda.

Personally I'm really, really disappointed. Romney was the best possible candidate we have ever had. I liked him even in 2008. He would be a great President and he would get us out of the economical crisis fast.

Now we have got what we deserve.

Dumb! Seriously dumb

OH! I thought you were going somewhere else with that.
I was disappointed that YOU thought Romney was the best possible candidate.

I'm disapointed that Independent or No party Affiliated voters are not allowed to participate in the Primaries, and folks like you and the Libs keep nominating the same fucksticks like Obama and Clinton as in 2008 over Kusinich and Romney and the other horrible candidates over Ron Paul. I'm more disappointed that the Liberal press media machine championed and harkened Romney as some supreme leader, while silencing Ron Paul, while spreading misinformation about him if at all.

Yes you do deserve the Government you get.

I'm mostly disappointed that Romney didn't Win and turned out ten times worse than the most hardcore liberal's nightmare. So they would understand they shouldn't fuck with the Republican primaries, because that son of a Bitch just might win.

Ron Paul

I am libertarian on economic issues but I don't think he is fit enough to lead us through any international crisis. Although Obama is probably even worse in this department.

He definitely screwed up his third debate with no mentioning Benghazi. He should be more aggressive all the way, even with this 47% remark, own it, be like a hammer sledge all the way.

I have come to discover after supporting Ron Paul, that Ron Paul and Rand Paul are major ass clowns, right up there with Newt, Ryan, Cantor, Boehner, Kochs.

He tried to play nice and was apologetic and tried to explain that "I care about everybody". This was a B/S on his part, I agree. He should make them feel guilty that they want stuff and they take, not contribute. He should say that O. is trying to buy poor people's votes. The rest of us would support him even more.

Not for long. The situation is unsustainable. Takers would feel even bigger pain right now. The whole thing will collapse and there is going to be a backlash.

The 53% majority wasn't sure hence he lost

For at least 4 years of Obama and at least another 8yrs under the next Dem or probably Hilary. That's a while.

That's 16yrs of a dem President +++

More than likely a generation or 2.

But this is the truth. People voted because they wanted security of the government because they are dependent on the government.
More of people are dependent on the government more would vote for Democrats. It is a vicious cycle. Even if 'we lost' we should still point out the truth. No matter what happens in the future.

LMFAO. She is more popular than any politician you have at the GOP.

Excuse me are you using your own internal calculated right wingnut polls or is just an opinion?

You see in the real world none of your politicians poll well enough to come close to beating Hilary, HENCE YOU GOT BISHOP WILLARD MITT ROMNEY.

Bush got a larger percentage of the Mormon vote!

Did you see the election day figures? or you don't like math?

21   121212   2012 Dec 28, 5:56am

Also DATA! You see Obama is the DATA king. He collected it and will pass it down, your side has jack shit.

22   nope   2012 Dec 28, 5:57am

Takers vs makers is sitter bullshit reasoning. The 47% is mostly retirees and military, not welfare queens.

He either didn't offend stupid libs enough or there is too many stupid libs which are offended.

I prefer more meat and believe that it is always better to be on the offensive than defensive. He should always adjust to the level of his opponent. Romney was just too nice and too gentleman to play with dirty Alinsky'ans tactics. Generally to be gentleman is a good thing but here it was useless.

The guy is a corporate shark. A destroyer of worlds. A Gordon Gekko leverage buy out prince.

Seriously, this guy enriched himself at the expense of 1000's of workers. He was involved in multiple unethical barely legals SCAMS! even one against his own CHURCH. He eluded to this in his acceptance speech.

You have no idea who this guys is.

Wake up!

Are you saying they are going to bus people systematically and block after block in urban areas to poling stations forever?

Then it has to be the next black charismatic candidate, maybe Michelle?

Oh gosh we are screwed!!!

27   121212   2012 Dec 28, 6:05am

How large is your IRA, not $100 Million?

Like Bishop Mittens

Considering the legal yearly contribution is $6700

How do you think his IRA got so large?

He took PEOPLE PENSIONS!!!

It's what BAIN DOES BEST!

Nope, it was the Rethugs who gerrymandered all the House districts, they were the ones with over 1 Million less votes and still able to steal the House!

That anti-Romney propaganda reached you too. The best thing was that he is a businessman not the academia guy. He knows how the real world works. This was the biggest the most important factor for me to vote for the guy.

I believe that TeaParty people would organize themselves again. However, they should exclude religious fanatics and all get together, Constitutionalists, Libertarians, Conservatives, maybe even create a stronger third party. Maybe someone charismatic emerges and would be able to bit up progressives and leftists cooks.

Yes, more takers than makers, that what I stated earlier differently.

34   Tenpoundbass   2012 Dec 28, 6:32am

These third parties should ditch the notion of a single third party. There just isn't one, there are 100's of other parties. But not one damn one of them have the political clout to make a dent. In closed primaries states, nobody can even effective legally nominate them. Unless they are registered as "Green Party" or "Tea Party" or "This Party" or "That Party".
I think all alternate parties need to coalesce in demanding an end to closed primaries, and focus on running cross parties, depending on the party more leaning to their ideology or the party they could best "FIX". The "Third Party" is going to decide who gets nominated in both Liberal and Republican parties going forward.

As for registered Voters you should be registered to Vote, and that would be that. You get one vote in the Primaries and one Vote in the General election. What party you are in, should not be anyone's damn business especially not the election board.
