Thy name is Nomograph. This guy has "stalked" me on this site for the purpose of saying I'm a welfare baby, regardless of the topic of the thread. Your problem Nomograph, is you seem to lack the logical reasoning skills to follow more complex thought processes, and when you don't understand, you hurl insults like a hamster throws his shit. Let me try to explain(you still won't get it though). If Government "A" steals from Citizen "B", and Citizen B has an opportunity to steal back some of what Government A stole, they will take it. Now Citizen B will still hold out hope that someday Government A will stop stealing so this can all end, but in the meantime, Citizen B will try to recoup whatever they can.

Now, instead of being envious you have not had this opportunity, try doing something positive about the over-taxation, and welfare state that plagues our once great country. And stop following people around and posting comments about things you don't understand.

...Oh, and since this is the outside forum, you're a stinking pile of dysentary, and during the pillow talk with your mom last night, she said she feels the same way.

P.S. Patrick, I know you favor free speech, but when someone consistently detracts from threads with off topics attacks against someone else, they need to be told to stop. Otherwise people will get tired of the personal attacks and create nasty response threads like this. Most of us are adults, but children like Nomograph need boundaries set for them.

Gentlemen,

We are trying to help Nomo in reversing his Caustic, Personal, Narcissistic personality disorder. Paying him this type of negative attention is what he lives for. Given time and introspect he will realize he does not want to be known as an asshole. Well, not a little one anyway. Just be nice to him and try to find his home address. We should probably ask to speak with his Daaad.

3   elliemae   2012 Jan 7, 9:33am

I don't want to burst your bubble - I get that you're just posting your opinion on this anonymous forum. But you're gonna hear from all sorts of people, many of whom disagree with you.

Nomo might be an asshole at times - a fucking hilarious one, but an asshole nonetheless - so why don't you "ignore" him? That'd be so much easier than getting your panties in a knot over his assessment of your situation.

If you're really buying a home under a govt program as described in your posts (above), you have no right to say anything.

Full disclosure: I work for private agencies and am not paid in any way by the welfare system. I saved $$$ and bought my home with a conventional loan, and have never collected welfare (9 months of unemployment paid years ago doesn't count as welfare, btw). I'm anticipating a comment about my profession - social work - and thought I'd head that little puppy off at the pass.

I believe UI and SS are not technically 'welfare' since one qualifies for them by first paying into the fund.

That's my thinking - but my point is that the whole S8 thing is welfare. I have no problem with welfare as a tool for self-sufficiency, but people who are receiving assistance often deny that's what it is. While I wouldn't have chosen the words, "welfare baby," it does invite criticism when one posts his situation on the interwebs.

Nomo's a smartass, which is much better than a dumbass.

Why don't you place him on "ignore?" It'd make it easier on you. I find him fucking hilarious at times, with a dry sense of humor. Sometimes I agree, while othertimes I disagree with him. If he bothered me, I'd ignore him.

I've done it with several posters, it makes my patnet experience more enjoyable. Yous guys oughta try it. In the meantime, paying homage to him by giving him his own thread strokes his ego, which I believe is the opposite of what nuttboxer wanted.

That's kinda like saying that bombing Berlin was some sort of 'homage' to Adolf Hitler.

Really? Actually, that's kinda like nothing of the sort. If ya'll possess such an intense dislike for Nomo that you have to complain about him in an anonymous internet forum, more power to you.

But he's not Hitler, and patnet isn't Berlin. FYI, Hitler was a maniacal dictator who engineered the genocide of as many as 11,000,000* people during the holocaust. Nomo is a physician who teaches medical students in California. I can see how you have such a mistaken impression because those two are so closely alike.

Wow, my very own thread on Patrick.net. I'm touched.

I can tell he's crushed.

Hey there Nuff Boxer: I wonder if you ever stopped to consider a mans feelings before you take to the warpath with someone? Could be the Nomograph has lost a loved one or a beloved pet or maybe had some other serious misforunte or drama he is coping with what makes him cantankerous.

I had a nephew what was the softest spoken nice clean cut young man you could hope for. He went through a windshield in Iraq come back half out of his mind. He dances in the intersection here every Monday and Thursday now for hours on end til the sun goes down. Not for $$$ just because hes loco. He also has got a lousy temper on him now on account of the injuries. Hes always hollering and itching to duke., I do not hole it against the boy .

I have also called out some turkeys on here for there non-sense BS but nomograph is jjust a razzer trying to have a go. Here is the truth: I bet money if you met him in person you would probably get along just fine. I bet you he would pull over on the road to help you jump your battery or give you some water. How bad could he be?

What a condescending comment, especially considering that your next sentence compares Nomo to a person who suffered a head injury. Later you state that you believe that he's probably jjust a "fine" person. Considering that you also believe that he acts the same as someone who has suffered a serious head trauma or suffered a great emotional loss, that's not exactly a compliment. At least I believe that's what you're saying, assuming that a “misforunte” is some type of loss. Not sure with you.

But I, for one, am grateful that you harbor no resentment toward both Nomograph and the head-injured man:

No, I actually think that you lack the ability to forumulate complete sentences & communicate effectively. This includes including the use of "spell check." It makes you appear to be an idiot.

yeah But thats what I mean hon. I really do believe I help to take the edge off what seems to me like a mostly pointless and frustrated life. you get to feel EXTRA hoity toity pointing out all my spelling errors and you get to call me names. Having made my fortunes twice over I find it really satisfying to help people in need. Take note of my initials. What is not to like?

Hey even if you decide you do not like me at least I took the heat off Nomograph a spell!

I do not judge the homosexual Nomograph and I accept your compliment. Anyhow that is an old shot. I looked damn good without a shirt in those days. Solid fat if any. you should have seen the festivities that followed that night!

It's unfortunate that you believe your life to be pointless and frustrated.

I have no idea what you mean, but then again I don't really give a shit if you drop a quarter in a jar every now & then.

No one's IP address has been permanently banned. Perhaps that's why.

He has two threads dedicated to him. That's pretty cool.

16   Dan8267   2012 Jan 16, 12:58pm

Jason M. says

Why hasn't Nomograph's IP address been permanently banned already?

It would be trivial to use an Internet proxy to post on a web forum, thereby nullifying the effects of an IP ban. Plus, you are assuming that Nomograph always posts from the same IP, which may not be the case. If you war drives or has a mobile phone that connects to a hotspot, you're out of luck in banning IPs.

Eschew Obfuscation

Most people get their IPs dynamically (The D in DHCP), so they change every so often. Banning an IP only stops those of us with static IPs, usually for hosting or business purposes.

Assuming you aren't pulling my leg, and already know. :)

Probably accused Patrick of being a Fabian Socialist Nazi banker demon Buddhist or something.

That's so Fabian!

Ha. Well, non-techies are usually dynamic, so to ban an IP is like whack-a-mole. Which is awesome on tacos.

What point did you prove? That you would bring up Obama's birth certificate? That you have so many times in the past that it's predictable?
