Yeah, it's not like the clean and efficient wars that the US has like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria that have a specific goal and are fought to win as quickly as possible.

Lost more in Chicago over the same time and other major cities in our own country. I agree there's no goal, but we dominate when we want to spend tax payer money. Rather have that than a war in Ukraine that is going to last a decade. We lost 5k. Russia and Ukraine are in 6 figures each. It's dumb. It's a proxy war Russia is losing at the cost of Ukrainians. Doesn't move me, but it changes the landscape of that territory for 30-40 years.

Which is completely bonkers, if you think about it. What kind of regular unit (near front line in a hot war ) would allow members of some other unit to enter their camp and beat them up? This is sloppy beyond all fuck. They are lucky it was just some Vaginer peeps and not Ukie SOF unit doing a raid behind enemy lines - they would all be fucking dead, not just fucked up.

Assuming Russia is being truthful, and I admit that's questionable, it is to end US hostility toward Russia by drawing a line in the sand at the expansion of NATO and allowing Russian/European trade to exist unfettered by US interference.

The US didn't blow up the Nordstream pipeline for nothing. The goal of the US is to cripple Russia economically. Even if they can't restore trade with Europe even if this cripples Europe, the US is not going to attain this goal. The US is simply wasting money for no discernible benefit for anybody other than the few companies that are going to fly in like vultures to take over the resources of what is left of Ukraine.

The only groups advantaged by this war in the West are the offense industry, banks like JP Morgan, and Blackrock. Ukraine has already lost. Nobody in Ukraine is going to get anything out of this, except for the few traitors that are working with JP Morgan and Blackrock, they're going to leave the country or live behind compounds when this is done.
