The Democrat house took Mike Johnson more easily than they took Kevin McCarthy. I believe Mike was chosen from the establishment, so that in the event the Conservative SOTH was challenged again, and Jim Jordan became the candidate again. Eventually Jim would win and that scares them more.
Mike Johnson is a SOTH that the next time enough Democrats will vote to keep him, if a vote to remove him comes up again.
They'll make it look like Bipartisan cooperation to do the will of the People. But he's just an insurance policy. They knew no important issues concerning corruption and grift against the Obama, Clinton and Biden dynasties and to expel the DOJ leadership, would not come up unless the bulk of our majority retired leaving them without the numbers to get things done. They will rally to keep in, after any challenge to remove and replace him.
