An older Chinese gentleman one court over (I think he bought the house from his children who moved elsewhere) was bringing in his garbage pails. He only walks a bit up and down the sidewalk for walks, wear poly gloves, a big ole mask, and big plastic shields over his upper face. He looks skinny as a rail, excessively even for an Asian. Immune system probably blown.
I think he is probably a vaccine victim holding on. Another Chinese lady on our court lost a bunch of her hair after vaccine, bald from forehead to about a third back. Some of it has grown back, but still sparse.
Today I saw a woman smoking outside of Trader Joe's.
When she was done with her cigarette, she put on a mask to go into the store.

Because they thought they were doing the right thing, everybody has to do it, we're going to protect everyone. They didn't talk to any scientists that differed. They all just stuck with whatever Fauci said, whatever the NIH said, and they also demonize people who are saying things that have been proven to be absolutely correct. ...

Rasmussen poll unearths the bizarre discovery that 15% of respondents ages 40-64 'forgot' if they got a covid vaccine
They found that a substantial percentage of respondents claimed to know someone personally who was killed by a covid vaccine:
... This is wild.
Nobody (except perhaps Biden) ‘forgets’ whether they got a covid vaccine. So this is basically an obvious and open lie to the pollster.
So basically, we’ve got a bunch of people who on the one hand are too embarrassed to admit that they got a covid vaccine, but on the other hand can’t bring themselves to openly lie that they didn’t get a covid vaccine, leading them to go for the middle ground of lie that they don’t remember if they got a vaccine.
In other words, the subject of covid vaccines has become so toxic that - if this poll’s results are to be believed - a sizeable minority not only regrets getting vaccinated but feel ashamed for having done so.
Moreover, when people lie blatantly and anonymously, they are usually doing so in order to deceive themselves in order to maintain a fiction in their own self-image or identity. There are many reasons why people could have psychological difficulty with their vaccinated status, including:
They don’t want to admit they were inept or gullible enough to get manipulated and tricked into getting vaccinated which in hindsight is now both a very significant decision an a colossal failure of their judgement
Coercion to get vaccinated left them feeling abused/violated/traumatized, something which they would rather push out of their consciousness, but admitting they are vaccinated forces them to relive the abuse and maintains or anchors these feelings in their conscious mind. Other bullying or abuse associated with the vaccines could also lead to this.
Similar to the previous one, they are afraid for their own health going forward, and would rather not contemplate their own potential risks from the covid vaccines, and so deny their own vaccination status in order to push it out of their consciousness
The fact of so many “defections” indicates that a great many more people feel similarly - the defectors are the tip of the iceberg who feel strongly enough to tell an readily obvious lie on a poll, but most people who harbor resentment, anger or trauma about getting vaccinated are not going to lie about their vaccination status on an anonymous poll.
The primary takeaway to me is that covid vaccines have incredibly toxic culturally, which is good news.

Liberals defend their credentials which allow them to exploit those who don't have the same credentials. Credentials create monopolies, the ability to set high prices regardless of quality of service. It is a way to defeat free market competition.
The funding of universities depends entirely on the demand for their degrees, which they control. Their biggest horror would be a system where anyone could take tests to prove competence in a subject without paying for the years of classes and subjecting themselves to obedience to professors.

Most of academia is less about learning than about paying for a paper proof of status and conformity. Non-conformists are expelled from schools, or failed out. Most teachers do not like their authority to be questioned. Bosses like the academic proof of conformity when they hire. The most "educated" are the most obedient.
Trump was a threat to their credentials and therefore a threat to their incomes and status.
The academic elite need a reason to hate those threatening themselves, therefore they use imaginary "racism", to which there is no defense. The accusation is the conviction.
Then they don't need to worry about the real class problem, which is independent of race. They would be uncomfortable looking at class, because they'd have to look at themselves and their unearned class privileges.
So their faith in the injection is faith in the "expert class" of which they are members, and they demand that the hoi polloi submit to it as an expression of the elite's power and prestige.
