Florida’s local Alachua Chronicle wrote a nice article republishing the Governor’s announcement headlined, “More border support: Governor Ron DeSantis sends additional Florida National Guard and Florida State Guard to assist Texas.”

Yesterday’s press release from the Governor’s office announced the deployment of an entire battalion of Florida National Guard to the Texas border, assuming Texas accepts, along with the deployment of the new Florida State Guard to help with checkpoints and humanitarian needs:

Texas State Troopers arrested 15 illegal immigrants on Saturday for criminal trespass in Eagle Pass.
