A former CIA official testified that then-Biden campaign senior adviser, now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken "played a role in the inception" of the public statement signed by current and past intelligence officials that claimed the Hunter Biden laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell testified before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, and revealed that Blinken was "the impetus" of the public statement signed in October 2020 that implied the laptop belonging to Hunter Biden was disinformation.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, R-Ohio, sent a letter to Blinken Thursday, notifying him that the panels are "conducting oversight of federal law-enforcement and intelligence matters within our respective jurisdictions."

"We are examining that public statement signed by 51 former intelligence officials that falsely discredited a New York Post story regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop as supposed Russian disinformation," they wrote. "As part of our oversight, we have learned that you played a role in the inception of this statement while serving as a Biden campaign advisor, and we therefore request your assistance with our oversight."

They went from "nothing to see there and laptop is fake anyway" to what we see now - indictments on multiple criminal charges. Why the sudden change? Why couldn't they keep on keeping it under wraps?

They DID keep it under wraps as long as they could. but a few whistleblowers came forth and the newly Republican house decided to investigate. Remember, the FBI had this info for a long time, but waited until now to charge because now charging Hunter stops the House investigation.

Hunter Biden's circumstance is synonymous with a "no show job".

Hunter Biden was essentially the middle man between these companies such as the Chicom energy company and Joe Biden.

They need to track every penny and nickle that Hunter Biden received from these companies and where that money ended such as into shell company accounts, etc. That money ultimately made it into the hands of Joe and Jill Biden.

Even if the FBI was honest and not a Democrat enforcer, it would be impossible to get the Chicom Energy company and Burisma to show what exactly Hunter Biden did while employed by them. It would be impossible to do anything beyond the FBI engaging in coercion to get these companies to substantial cooperate.

So what did Joe Biden do to help these companies such as what influence or control did he exert within the federal government to benefit (or make promises to benefit) these companies as part of quid pro quo relationship ?

On first examination, Hunter Biden did not bring any specific skillset and experience to be employed by these companies.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has acknowledged the legitimacy of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop data for the first time in a new court filing.

In a Tuesday court filing from DOJ prosecutors, which came in response to Biden’s request to have his federal firearm charges dismissed, investigators acknowledge the legitimacy of data found on Biden’s laptop prior to the 2020 election. The court filings described how IRS and FBI investigators had obtained a search warrant for tax violations on Biden, leading them to “various” backup data accounts.

The documents additionally note that investigators later came into “possession” of the laptop that Biden had previously “left at a computer store,” emphasizing that investigators had “already obtained” a large portion of the data from Apple. No, it's the executive branch itself. The only thing that can happen is impeachment really and that just removes Biden from office. Nice, we'll get Kamala for 9 months and all hell will break loose.... He'll pre-pardon himself and anyone involved of federal crimes that are under investigation.

I really don't know what the Republican led House is doing right now. Maybe timing like the Dems did and impeach him closer to the election? I think that's the best you're going to get out of this. Fact is he probably has the blue state governors under his control and anything Hunter did that could be charged in the states he'll get a pardon or early release if he even goes to jail.

Everything was pre-planned. Hunter planned it and he fucked up with the laptop, but doesn't show guilt from what's on there. And no I'm not defending them, but I don't think anything happens besides an impeachment try and I'm honestly not sure I want that unless you impeach Kamala at the same time and put the Speaker in.
