mell saysThat also erases newscums EO, kidz until age 16 are safe for now
Was it an executive order? Or just a tweet about plans for the future?

The death of this bill does not change the existing power of Newsom’s appointees in the health department to mandate any FDA-approved vaccine they want for school. If passed, the bill only would have made it impossible to opt out of on grounds of belief.
In order to further protect students and staff and continue supporting a safe return to in-person instruction for all students, the Governor directed the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to follow the procedures established by the Legislature to add the COVID-19 vaccine to other vaccinations required for in-person school attendance—such as measles, mumps, and rubella—pursuant to the Health and Safety Code.
Upon full FDA approval of age groups within a grade span, CDPH will consider the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Family Physicians prior to implementing a requirement.
This will be accomplished by regulations promulgated pursuant to section 120335(b)(11), which authorizes vaccine requirements for “any other disease deemed appropriate” by CDPH.
It was not an executive order, but who’s counting? He did “direct” the health department to require the vaccine for schoolchildren.
Here’s the official page for that.

I think the continuing emerging data will make it harder and harder to justify the jab for any adolescent, doesn't mean they won't try.
I’d be surprised if they can pass the k-12 mandate. I read somewhere that k-12 enrollment hit a 20 year low in Cali. Don’t these woke teachers get paid on FTES? Yikes.

Yep they do. And there are enough rich assholes that don't trust the govt either so they have been taking them to private schools, and, since the mandate initially also covered private schools, home schooling. The amount of home schooling networks that have popped up here within a short time is astonishing. Needless to say al.ist everybody in SF was accepted by their school of choice due to the low enrollment rates, and the principal of Lowell (used to be best public school) quit to protest the leftards at sfusd. 3 board members were recalled. Most school districts are in deep trouble
The absolute best thing this country can do is fund the Students, not the Systems.
Homeschool, Private School, Charter Schools, but choice should be as routine for K12 as it is for Colleges, Supermarkets, and even Churches.

Where is all the money going in Cali that such a rich district looks almost third world. Teacher pensions and benefits, that would be my bet. What a racket, it seems almost criminal.
the school district was so rich,
What a racket, it seems almost criminal.
The schools in Texas? They look like junior colleges. Huge campuses, well funded facilities, zero portables. On top of that there are so many STEM charter schools, and magnet schools, so many choices. Average 15:1 student ratio.

California K-12 enrollment plunges again, falls below 6 million
Dashing hopes for a rebound, K-12 enrollment has fallen sharply again this year, by an additional 110,300 students, pushing total public school enrollment in California below 6 million for the first time since 1999-2000.
EBGuy says
Community college enrollment is WAY down in California as well, dropping by 1.9 million in two years. But the idiots in charge STILL have a vax mandate for in person instruction and they are now requiring boosters!

Crazy, isn’t it? And boosters are not FDA-approved for any age, by the way! Only Emergency Use Authorized. The only thing that was ever “approved” was the adult (16 and up for Pfizer, 18 and up for Moderna) primary dose series.
Comirnaty was never approved in the United States. Pfizer sells a "vaccine" they claim is the same as Comirnaty but it's not sold as Comirnaty.
SB-871 stopped!
Leave them kidz alone, you fucking pedophilic infanticidal and genocidal maniacs. fuck you again, we will continue to fight back
