Same company makes Sundrop, which is quite good if you can find the real sugar version that only comes in glass bottles. If you like Dr Pepper, you can substitute that flavor by combining seltzer water and prune juice. Next time you take a swig of Dr Pepper, see if it doesn't taste like carbonated prune juice.

The best part about transferring from liberal arts to engineering as an undergrad was that engineers can and do prove each other wrong all the time. When you're wrong, it's over.

You'd LIKE to think this, wouldn't you? Haven't you ever worked with an engineer that refuses to admit error? I have a friend who claims he's seen companies fail due to an engineer's inflexibility in admitting a mistake, and I believe him! Some engineers are just intransigent. I have to be careful at times to listen to objective criticism and accept when I've made an error. Part of the problem is two or more engineers won't know how to exactly solve the problem, and everybody is wrong. Been in that position more than a few times.

In my experience, "3rd time is a charm" is true. Design it once, you have crap. Design it again, and you have a nearly perfect solution. 3rd time, you have a perfect solution. You have hit every mistake already, you found a few more the 2nd time around, and by 3 you've hit ever ditch and pothole and avoid them all.

Just making my own soda anyway, still using that old SODA machine from days when patrick.net members invested into that company's stock. I'm not using their flavorings though, just the soda making machine I bought a long time ago. Makes better carbonated water on demand, and much easier than buying cans.

That article is a different rehash of the same flawed source material, plus a youtube of a woman spending 11 minutes emoting about the same screenshot in this thread, and a Linkedin webpage that's 404 now. This isn't proof that Coca Cola planned this as accused, its porno for people already convinced of this outcome just wanting to fap to it.

As I said above, I'm against diversity training but think this bizarre Right Wing Cancel Culture witch hunt makes a fatal tactical error by attacking Coca-Cola as if the "be less white" shit was THEIR plan and intent. The evidence I see is that an outside race hustling consultant used a "diversity training" gig with Coca Cola to trojan horse her radical ideas by linking them through the more palatable training Coca Cola thought they were purchasing when they retained her.

We agree that we hate intersectional politics and race baiting. What are the ethics of being "right for the wrong reasons" though? For the same effort on our part, we could ally with the marketing power and influence of Coca Cola and hit these diversity training consultants REALLY HARD in a way that promises to stop them cold where they've been immune to criticism till now. Losing this opportunity, and tacitly allowing the damage to follow when the race hustlers get away from this round scot-free, are some of the real costs of being wrong about this.

Yes the worst coffee in the world is in South America. The Hotel we stayed at in Cusco, served the most vile swill in the morning. They called it Cafe Americano, it was Nescafe` ran through a Turkish coffee maker. It was black thick as mud and tasted like coffee that has been left burning in the coffee maker until it was condensed, scorched and stale. I mean they only had instant coffee back at the wife's house in Lima as well, but they didn't take the extra step to make even more shittier.
