Other groups started in America in similar or even worse conditions and did just fine after a generation, or two, or three. Lots of Irish neighborhoods were dangerous shitholes, and the old Jewish neighborhoods in NY were not much better, and many Chinese neighborhoods are borderline shitholes right now.

The man in the video was awesome. He first tried to pepper spray them because he's compassionate and didn't want to blow their stupid heads off. But, when his bottle of spray fell and was picked up by the racist thug, he pulled out his steel law enforcement and instantly neutralized the situation, safely, and effectively.

I'm not sure how this event started, but I have a feeling if I knew I would probably wish he had just taken their crime off the streets forever in that moment.

Doubtful. Most kids black or white hardly know the history of their grandparents. The late night tales of longstanding family history are a myth. Instead they are talking about the latest air Jordan Sneakers, sports, school etc. Similar if you look really really hard you may find one or two 100 year old English men who still hate Germans for ww2, but it has no impact whatsoever on society or opportunity. Again it's mainly in the interest of white leftoids to justify their unnecessary jobs promoting race and gender baiting. I get what you're saying, but any black or white kid under 30 is really far removed from any knowledge of slavery even with a rich documentation of family history. A 30 year olds grandma was likely born in the 1930-1950's. So their own grandparents (if alive) would have had to have interactions with their great grandparents basically, to have any second hand knowledge and then pass that down to their 30 year old grandkid.

If the family is still hung up on great, great, great, great grandma cleaning a house, getting meals and free lodging, then it might be time to get over it. And yes, I understand parts of slavery were brutal, it's documented. The reality of the situation is their family lineage is substantially better off having been slaves instead of being stuck in Africa. Sometimes you got to see the glass as half full. Doesn't make it right, but shit could be WAAAAAYYYYYYY worse for blacks specifically without slavery having happened in America.
