FortWayneIndiana saysI know a few Harvard graduates, right here in fucking Reseda, not smart people at all, they went there on a "minority" grant of some sort, came out ultra liberal, now live in Reseda with their 60k salary whining about unfairness in the world. You'd think by just waving "Harvard" they'd be able to get more money than an average high school graduate. Nah, apparently some people can't even figure basics in life without having someone hold their hand for them.
What did they get their degrees in? Liberal Arts or something simililiarly useless?
A good student will rise to the top, regardless of the school they attend, and a degree will only take you so far.
If that's the case, why go to Harvard? Sounds like a YYUUGGGGEEE waste of money.
Recall that they inflated the SAT and a score of 1270 today is actually much lower than 1270 in 1972 for example..
I had a girlfriend who went to Harvard. She got in as a "legacy" (both her parents graduated from there).
When we were dating, I had just graduated from U. Michigan

Harvard is a great school! So is Pasadena City college. My wife's old roommate went to the latter and was a Rhodes Scholar.
This will be interesting vis-a-vis Harvard's Anti-Asian Discrimination Case.
