A former top adviser to Barack Obama was among the list of public relations professionals and lawyers consulting Harvey Weinstein over a major New York Times story, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Anita Dunn, a top Obama campaign staffer and former White House communications director, helped offer damage control advice for the Hollywood mogul.

On Thursday afternoon, the New York Times published a major investigation into Weinstein that features on-the-record claims of sexual harassment, including from actor Ashley Judd.

The Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported Wednesday that the Times was working on the story on Weinstein’s personal “behavior." The two Hollywood trade outlets also reported that NBC News' Ronan Farrow is working on a piece about Weinstein for the New Yorker.
...
Sources said that Lanny Davis, former special counsel to Bill Clinton, has been central to the PR effort for Weinstein, who is a major Democratic donor. Dunn, for her part, is the managing director of SKDKnickerbocker, a Washington public affairs firm with deep ties to Democratic politics. She was communications director for Obama’s 2008 campaign and served briefly in his administration.

Weinstein’s legal team is also a murderer’s row of high-profile names, according to Variety and THR: David Boies, Lisa Bloom (who helped bring down Bill O’Reilly), and Charles Harder (who helped Hulk Hogan fell Gawker).

Weinstein responded to the Times story with a statement: “I appreciate the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologize for it. Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go.”

Let's sit back and watch all the Hollywood and Media Stars and Members of the Obama Entourage who made a big deal out of "Grab the Vagina" start criticizing Weinstein as loudly and as vociferously. Ha!

Even Harvey's divorce is likely an asset shifting strategy. However, he would have to trust his ex. As the saying goes, how do you say "Fuck You" in Hollywood?

"Trust me."

He'll probably croak somewhere along the course of litigation, trying to cling on to the threads of past grandiosity and glory. At least it looks to be an entertaining pissing match, and entertainment is what it is all about. I bet the retainer was north of five million bucks, and the millions will dissolve like snow in legal summer.

How do you think Emma Watson feels now that we know Gwynneth and Angelina didn't need to bang Harvey and still got the part?
65   Ceffer   2017 Oct 12, 10:51am

They do seem to break down into two camps: the "morally outraged" and the "I never suspected". Maybe a third: "I never suspected, but now that I do, I am morally outraged".

Of course, there are the oddball Harvey co-dependents who may think he still has some fumes to get their careers going again like Lindsey Lohan.

Were you guys just as upset at Gibson's anti-semitic tirades or was he given a pass because he was Christian?
67   Goran_K   2017 Oct 12, 11:20am

I'm just waiting for Weinstein to commit suicide by shooting himself twice in the back of the head.

Didn't Gibson get smacked down pretty hard once his tirades became public?

Did Hollywood (and major Democrat politicians) kiss up to Gibson and cover it up for 3 decades?

Just imagine if the tables were reversed and there were prominent Republicans singing the praises of a sexual predator like this.

The Media and Democrats would be going ape-shit and going on and on about the "larger truth" and how the entire Republican party was complicit on the "war on women".

Wait a minute I thought we’re supposed to chide these women for all these false rape claims?

Nope - the guy is on the donkey's team.

Yup. "An Anti-Womyn Culture" or some shit like that would be the talking point of the WaPo, NYT, CBS, PMSNBC, etc. With Weinstein, the Media is trying to keep it about him.

Here comes the Avalanche, not a good day for Amazon:

There's only one solution to this exploitive male bestiality!

Have the starlets engage in judged combat with each other nude, finishing with a rabid tweetie ravishing fest.

Eliminations until the best woman gets the three picture deal.
81   Ceffer   2017 Oct 17, 6:22pm

Sex Rehab? The withdrawal from the steady stream of bullied, intimidated starlet pussy alone will take months.
82   bob2356   2017 Oct 17, 6:31pm

At least he was molesting females over 18. That's a big improvement over the average priest or republican politician.
83   Patrick   2017 Oct 17, 6:42pm

All of the women involved should be forced to share in the blame simply for being alone with him. Not all the blame, but definitely 50%.

In all cultures and at all times, except our own, it was assumed that any woman of age, voluntarily alone with a man, had voluntarily agreed to fuck him. This goes double for powerful men who can benefit the woman in some way, like Weinstein could. Women have something to trade, and they use that something very aggressively with powerful men. Trump was right when he said "They let you do that." They know exactly what they are doing, but they also demand the option to play innocent in retrospect if they didn't get what they wanted out of the deal, like the lead in a movie...

Our culture is the stupid one, assuming that we can shame biology out of existence, or repeal biology by law. We cannot. Innate male and female sexual biology is the central fact of our existence. The facts of life. None of us would be here without it.

The solution is simple and ancient. A woman should never agree to be alone with an unrelated man unless she does in fact intend to signal to him that she wants to fuck him, right now. If she does agree to be alone with a man, courts should assume she intended to have sex with him.

Right.

How about Robert Menendez currently under trial?

Jeffery Epstein and his pal Bill Clinton?

Anthony Weiner?

Also - I'm willing to bet the pedo ring that has been raping boys across Hollywood are all big Hillary/Obama/Bernie/Democrat boosters.

Which cultures are you talking about? People in Europe would be very surprised to learn about this. Why don't you just give up on this red pill crap.

"Why don't you give up on all this redpoll crap."

Because for people with aspergers blurting out things that don't make rational sense are OK because it feelz good

quid pro tweetie is as old as Hollywood. Sexual psychopath studio boss vs. narcissistic starlet=Checkmate!

As a SV doctor, I use this presumption to my advantage. I see mostly housewives of engineer cucks who come to me for "service" and I bang every one of them, whether they want it or not. With healthcare premiums cut to the bone(r) I have to see 20-30 a day, its exhausting! Thanks Obamacare!
93   Patrick   2017 Oct 31, 9:29pm

Dammit, now the Hillary crowd won't be able to see a Hollywood movie without thinking about Weinstein's penis the whole time.
94   Ceffer   2017 Oct 31, 11:35pm

Why don't they just include a pic of Harvey's dick in the credits, to show how the female stars sacrificed for their art.
97   Ceffer   2017 Nov 7, 1:41pm

Weinstein is fleeing the Cunt-ry!
98   Booger   2017 Nov 8, 7:39pm

I can't wait until more names get dropped. We should make a deadpool-style pedopool and start making bets.

More wonderful news: NPR is eating itself:

http://money.cnn.com/2017/11/03/media/npr-ceo-harassment-scandal/index.html

It's really similar to the Reign of Terror in many ways. Faster and faster accusations without proof, followed by beheadings, finally culminating in the beheadings of those who started it all.
101   anonymous   2017 Nov 9, 9:34pm

The whole point of sexual harassment complaint mechanisms is to give women the option to selectively enforce laws according to their whims and taste in men.

It has almost nothing to do with the actual behavior of men, which is pretty much constant by biological necessity (or else we simply would not be here to write and read these lines).

It's about expanding female power to use male power (police, courts, corporations) to maximize female sexual choice at the expense of most men. Women get to keep away the pathetic beta hordes and yet remain free to fling their maximum sexual provocation toward the very top of the male hierarchy, After sleeping with the the VP, or SVP, or CEO, they also want the option to call it harassment on his part if he doesn't call them back the next day.

It's a clever strategy. Who can argue in favor of "harassment"? No one. The problem is that the definition is so subjective and unevenly enforced that every single woman gets to define harassment in a way that personally benefits her the most.

It's only the masses of ordinary men who are being harassed these days. They should stop putting up with it.
