Four UPS employees, including gunman, are dead in San Francisco mass shooting this morning. Location is UPS facility on Potrero Hill, immediately adjacent to I-101 northbound lanes. Exact location is 17th St and Utah St.
Strictest gun control in the nation. Ammo background checks. Prop 63. No gun stores within SF city limits.
Still think gun control works?
We knew Hillary and her supporters were pissed off, but really....
I was also expecting them to be a Hillary supporter instead of a Bernie supporter as well.
Hodgkinson, the baseball Shooter, was a firm believer in #RussiaHoax conspiracy theory

Incorrect, Trump rode in upon the votes of citizens. A vote in itself cannot be hateful. Any descriptive attachment to a vote, is simply propaganda in the current environment.
Sure. A characterization can be political, but you cannot deny there are motives behind someone's vote.
Perhaps Obama should have paid more attention to poor whites instead of spending 8 years ignoring them or chastising them for their "privilege" fostering his own "wave of hate".
Potential fair criticism, but per above, it is interesting to see Trump as a punitive vote against Obama. If that is true, what is this solving?
Doesn't look good. Not good at all.

Yep. See the UK and Australia.

Too soon. But for some reason I kek'd.

Not against Obama, against a DNC platform that ostracized poor whites (the voting demographic that pushed Trump into office). I'll let leftist favorite Michael Moore explain what happened since he hit the nail on the head.
Our local news reported the guy asked onlookers whether it was democrats or republicans in the field before he opened fire. I stress I heard that one time by our local channel, but have not heard that claim again yet/since.
It's all over twitter, FOX, everywhere.
There was initial uncertainty as the asker was described as wearing sweatpants, and the shooter was described as being in jeans. It took some time to clear, but looks credible. This guy was looking to shoot politicians of a certain stripe. Awful.

There are so many many different motivations at play here. Trump didn't win because of X, Hillary didn't lose because of Z ... things happened because of the whole alphabet.
Those who spent a lifetime warning about McCarthyism ...
"Character assassination is their stock in trade. Guilt by association is their motto. They have created such a wave of fear and uncertainty that their attacks upon our liberties go almost unchallenged. Many people are growing frightened – and frightened people panic."
I've only seen fear and division as a primary tactic from one party as of late.

Sure, but if you look at the biggest change from 2012 to 2016, it was the shift of white working class who came out in big numbers for Trump. Michigan, and Wisconsin had not voted GOP since Reagan. 200+ counties flipped and went to Trump when they had voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012.
I'm a centrist libertarian, so I dish criticism at both sides, but the biggest factor in the 2016 election was the working class white vote who the Democrat party chose to ignore to satisfy the SJWs that have taken over that party.
There's a reason why, despite the entirety of the leftist leaning MSM media trying to paint Trump as a cuck subservient to Russia, that the DNC's favorability ratings have fallen to decades long lows (May 2017 Gallup). Working class people don't give a shit about Tom Clancy spy stories. They just want a job and they want to be able to pay their bills. Trump is the ONLY one talking about that (and to a certain extent Bernie sanders). But the leadership of the DNC (Pelosi, Schumer, Warren) have spent all their energy making up fairy tales about Russia.

Of course there can be motivation behind someone's vote, yet who has authority over them if not the individual?....some people voted for Trump for concern of the National debt. How is that hateful? In fact, there may be many motivations that are not hateful, yet are described as so....that is propaganda.
Libbys gone wild...with guns.
So we need to ban guns?
Or should we wait for the next shooting? After all, ten million shootings aren't enough of a sample size.
From the department of unintended consequences: In the same way as the Republican party suddenly became a friend of Russia once Democrats started hating Russia, perhaps the Republican party will now act in favor of gun control?
What will likely happen is that the continuing stream of hate from Democrats will lead to big victories in 2018 and 2020. According to a May Gallop poll, Democrats have a 40% favorability rating, whatever made up fantasy they tried to dream up about Russia-Trump has never stuck, and they invested 7+ months of their energy into it. Total fail.
As for gun control, and what I'm about to say is backed by FBI statistics, if you took the right to own and bear arms from Democrats, gun crime would go down by 80%.
B.b.b.but muh 💪🽠(that's guns for those who don't know)

Guns don't target Republicans, Libby's do. Sounds like you're suggesting we ban Libby's.

Everyone knows that's due to gerrymandering and not at all because Clinton was too arrogant to even campaign in those states

Some of this forum have said the dems are right, the electorate is stupid.
It's a zero sum game, because if a cis-gender unicorn south pacific zambian lesbian immigrant wins, a hetero-normal white American ends up destitute on the street.
What fucked up language and narrative this is. As long as people feel this way, the nation will remain screwed.
I'll declare it right now: this deepens until we are at nation on nation conflict with a serious adversary, or some other horrible external crisis pushes us together. What will happen up until that time, States are going to drift apart in political leanings and local laws.
Was it TERRORISM?
UPDATE: Apparently the sarcasm was lost on some people. Allow me to elaborate: If a brown person did it: TERRORISM. If a right-winger did it: NOT terrorism, but LIBERATION of FREEDOM. If a white male did it: nominally NEVER terrorism, BUT in this rare case the man appears to be a Bernie Sanders supporter, hence TERRORISM. I'm posting this just in case anyone needs to update their algorithm due to today's special corner case, which may not have been handled properly by previous versions of the algorithm. Yes, sarcasm, again!
Some of this forum have said the dems are right, the electorate is stupid.
The founders greatly feared the tyranny of the majority and their ignorant dirty new citizenry. Be grateful. It's where the electoral college came from.
The right-wing is trying to meme the Alexandria/VA mass shooting into being the fault of "hateful left-wing media", not just here on Patnet, but also in the mainstream media. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Illinois) was at the baseball practice and gave an interview on CNN where he blamed "hatefulness over policy differences".
The truth is that the RIGHT-wing media pretty much was the epitome of being hateful for the last 35 years, at least.
The right-wing is trying to meme the Alexandria/VA mass shooting into being the fault of "hateful left-wing media", not just here on Patnet, but also in the mainstream media.
But it's true. The dude was a Left-wing nut job through and through. If this guy was a Tea Partier shooting up Democrats, you better believe the media would be running that angle 24/7 and sticking a microphone in every Republican's face forcing them to own this guy. They blamed Republicans for Gabby Giffords when the shooter turned out to be a non-political mental dude.
Democrats need to take ownership.
Left wing nuts always use threatening tactics to advance their political agenda. They "occupy" streets, they shout down and threaten conservative speakers at college campuses, they sue Christian photographers and cake bakers out of business, they boycott, and union goons slash tires and camp out in front of people's homes. Back in the 1960's and 70's left wing terrorist groups were bombing shit all over the country. Virtually all political violence and intimidation comes from the political left. Many of these violent leftists are still welcome in the Democrat party and have teaching gigs at universities (i.e. Obama's buddy Bill Ayers).
Domestic terrorism is what this was, clearly. But instead of Wahhabism and Imams, you have CNN, NYT, WaPO, Elizabeth Warren and Tim Kaine.
You won pat.net for the day
Mr. Trump has faced criticism over his response to protesters before. After a Black Lives Matter demonstrator was pushed to the ground at one of his events in November, Mr. Trump said in an interview after the episode that “maybe he should have been roughed up,†before later pulling back from his comments.
And the Dems are the now the one's inciting violence ?
Isn't that just a reaction to Liberals trying to shout down or disrupt a Conservative political event? Screechy Liberals like the Code Pink hags always try to disrupt Conservative speeches and hearings. College campuses have gone off the chart crazy where far left Liberals are now feeding on their own (Evergreen College).
When was the last time a Conservative or a Republican shouted down a disrupted a Liberal event?
I didn't vote for Trump, but I can understand the attraction some had for him as a person that will fight back using the same tactics as the political Left.

Wait. My sarcasm detector is going off.
When was the last time a Conservative or a Republican shouted down a disrupted a Liberal event?
How about earlier this month ? Meet the Trump backer leading the resistance to the resistance in California.
Where are the organized groups like Code Pink, BLM, Occupy, Antifa.......?
Granted, some individuals on the Right are now mimicking the Left's tactics like the dude in LA. But examples of the Left using intimidating tactics outnumber the Right 100 to 1.
Did you see a single responsible Dem condone this violence. We are all against violence and it has no place in our democracy.
Trump as a cuck subservient to Russia.... Working class people.... just want a job and they want to be able to pay their bills. Trump is the ONLY one talking about that
These things are not mutually exclusive.
Wow, I just read an archive of the shooters Facebook wall (which has a huge picture of Bernie Sanders as the cover image).
"I want to say Mr. President for being an a-hole, you are truly the biggest a-hole we have ever had in the oval office."
"Make America Great again, resign!"
"Trump is guilty and should go to prison for treason."
"Trump is a traitor, he has destroyed our democracy, it's time to get rid of trump and co"
Wow, this guy sounds like some of the people who post here. It's eerie.

So what you're saying is: he did it because of peer pressure? Seems legit!
If you are trying to make the case that Loretta Lynch is calling for violence in that video, you are absolutely crazy. No reasonable person who watch that video clip and say, "she's calling for bloodshed".
By the way, gun people, this is EXACTLY what an armed citizen using the Second Amendment to "fight tyranny" looks like. What? Did you think no one would die in an armed insurrection against the government?
Oh, and if you condemn this person, I love to break it to you, but if you ever used the Second Amendment to fight the government, everyone would be condemning you exactly like how you are condemning this person. This story is where your Second Amendment fantasies meet reality. And it's also why I have always said that armed rebellion is a ridiculous fantasy.
Back in the 1960's and 70's left wing terrorist groups were bombing shit all over the country. Virtually all political violence and intimidation comes from the political left
And these same people today are in academe or government--I don't believe any started Cadillac dealerships.
middle aged or above angry white male.
Who would feel right at home on this forum. I doubt there is a compliment under the word "Republican" on his T-shirt:

Rep/Cons be afraid,very afraid.
The 2nd Amendment gives the Left the right to have guns & there is nothing
the Right can do. HA!HA!HA!
I don't get the joke.

Booo hisssss. :/ ... heh ... kinda poor taste there HEY YOU.
You want the response to be "Ok, ok. Gun control." .... but what you are going to get is "Let's go bro! Civ war 2 kick it off!" ... You aren't dealing with highly rational thought here ... yet.
Rep/Cons be afraid,very afraid.

Are you kidding? Afraid of what? The guy had a Colt AR15 with an ACOG 1-6 scope and didn't score one kill shot in an ambush.
If you want to see what Rep/Cons can actually do with a firearm, look no further than Charles Whitman who scored multiple kill shots at 200+ yards from an elevated tower with an old hunting rifle while taking pistol fire from police, and the guy had a massive brain tumor.
Radical Democrats/Leftist shooters are only effective at shooting up schools, UPS, malls, and gay night clubs, or other defenseless targets.
That's exactly what they are doing, insanity on the left taken over
Mainstream Media publishes millions of stories attacking Trump and the current administration. Leftists make calls for violence against patriots.
Are they actually trying to start a Civil War Part II?
Unfuckingbelievable!

Rep. Steve Scalise was shot Wednesday morning in Alexandria, Virginia, a House colleague told CNN, in what sources are calling an apparent "deliberate attack."
The shooting took place at a practice for the GOP congressional baseball team.
Scalise, a member of the House Republican leadership as the majority whip, appeared to have been shot in the hip and it appeared two Capitol Hill police agents were shot, according to Rep. Mo Brooks, who told CNN he was on deck when the shooting occurred.
According to both congressional and law enforcement sources, the shooting appears to be a "deliberate attack."
