But the “flu-like” symptoms didn’t go away — his headaches got worse, he lost his appetite, and something didn’t feel right. When he finally saw a doctor, a CT scan revealed a mass on his brain. He was rushed to The Walton Centre in Liverpool for further tests and treatment.

Doctors diagnosed Kieran with a grade 3 astrocytoma, an aggressive type of brain tumour, and told him and his family he might only have around 12 months to live. Unfortunately, Kieran passed away in December 2025 at a hospice, surrounded by family and friends.

A couple from Nottingham say they’ve been left without real “answers” after their 17-month-old daughter died unexpectedly with no prior symptoms.

Ella McNally, 23, a nurse, and her partner Josh Forrest, 24, welcomed their “beautiful daughter,” Willow Poppy Forrest, into the world on June 4, 2023.

On the evening of November 11, 2024, Ella put Willow to bed as usual. She checked the baby monitor throughout the night. Everything appeared normal. But the next morning, when she called Willow’s name to wake her, there was no response.

An ambulance was called. CPR was performed. Willow was rushed to hospital under blue lights. Tragically, she was pronounced dead on November 12, 2024, at just 17 months old. A post-mortem examination and further testing were carried out. Her death was officially ruled as Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI).

Roy Butler was just 23 years old when he died in August 2021 - five days after receiving the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.

At the inquest into his death, the court heard that Roy died from a spontaneous and unexplained intracerebral haemorrhage, a catastrophic brain bleed. Assistant State Pathologist Dr. Margot Bolster described the case as “baffling,” saying she had never encountered a death like this in someone so young without being able to furnish a clear explanation.

The coroner returned a narrative verdict. He stated there was insufficient evidence to conclude that the vaccine caused Roy’s death, but also acknowledged that a causal link could not be definitively ruled out.

Rich Baillie was a 41-year-old father of three young children (who were aged 4, 6, and 8 at the time) and the husband of Louisa Baillie. He was described as a very fit, healthy, and active man who regularly played tennis.

His first point of concern was a very sore shoulder, which he initially assumed was just a pulled muscle from playing tennis, alongside some pain in his side. After being put on a two-week cancer pathway and undergoing scans, an oncologist diagnosed him with stage four terminal bowel cancer.

Sadly, he passed away 11 months after his diagnosis at the age of 41.

Jacob Clynick, a 13-year-old Michigan boy, died three days after he received his second dose of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine.

Clynick’s aunt, Tami Burages, posted a tweet with a photo of her nephew’s vaccination card and this statement, though she has since removed this tweet:

“A week ago today my brother’s 13-year-old son had his 2nd covid shot. Less than 3 days later he died. The initial autopsy results (done Friday) were that his heart was enlarged and there was some fluid surrounding it. He had no known health problems. Was on no medications.”

Former college football wide receiver Devonta Lee has passed away at the age of 27. A standout athlete from Louisiana, Lee earned a respected reputation across the state through his time playing for both the LSU Tigers and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

In 2022, after experiencing severe back pain during team activities, Devonta was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. He underwent an intensive medical journey that included two surgeries, 10 weeks of chemotherapy, and seven weeks of radiation. In 2024, Lee made an inspiring return to the field after being declared cancer-free and ringing the ceremonial bell. Tragically, the cancer later returned.

His mother, Lacresia Brown, confirmed that he ultimately died due to the disease and penned: "He was a fighter, and he loved everybody."
