In this interview, Victor Davis Hanson talks with Mark about his new book "Triumph Regained: The Vietnam War, 1965-1968." Access to North Vietnamese sources changes old assumptions of the war.

So he's attempting to justify what? NWO hall of famer Kissenger's domino bullshit? All the poor, young US citizens the government killed and mentally unhinged by fighting a war on the other side of the world? The killing of the elderly, women, and children by the US military? The invisible ship in the Gulf of Tonkin?

Sounds like war hawking to me. Get ready to launch the drones, I see another wedding planned in the Middle East!

I dunno, did you read the book?

PS. The interesting tidbit in the interview was that although the translations of NV documents were made available to everybody in the historian community, not a single one of the "mainstream" (read "leftoid") historians shown any interest in looking at them.

Did not read the book, barely listened to the interview. Regardless of whether we backed the right North Vietnamese leader or not is irrelevant in light of the bigger picture. We had no fucking business there. And with that fact in mind, any loss of American life was a loss. I don't care what color the lipstick in on the pig, it's still a pig...
