Supposedly Trump wrote on Truth Social (though I don't know how to see it because I don't have an account there):

“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” he wrote. “Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”

WTF?

Yes, the 2020 election was obviously and massively fraudulent at multiple levels, from drop box stuffing, mail in ballot fraud, Dominion voting machines, the FBI telling social media to suppress stories about Hunter's laptop, etc, etc, etc.

But no, the Constitution may never be suspended under any conditions whatsoever. Not even nuclear war. Never.

What we need is for the Constitution to be enforced as the fundamental law of America.

Why is Trump handing his enemies this ammo? Does he want to lose?

Maybe a poor choice of words, but how does Trump get legal relief from the fraud under our Constitution?

I predict someone will ask him to elaborate and he will do so.
2   Ceffer   2022 Dec 4, 4:13pm

He's talking about insurrection and martial law. Yes, those things can override the big C until remedied by military justice. All of these arrest stories, whether real or imagined, and remand to GITMO under military tribunals are extra-C. The Law of War Manual is operative. I think the presumption is that you have abdicated your rights under the C when you engaged in treason, sedition and comfort to the enemies both domestic and foreign and you became an unprivileged combatant i.e. not wearing the uniform of the powers you represent in open combat, therefore effectively a spy who can be summarily judged and executed.

The recently touted Brunson SCOTUS case alleges the instance in which the Congress critters committed treason by arbitrarily rushing through Biden's confirmation without investigating the possibility of election fraud when it was presented to them from the floor. That was a short cut they were obligated by law not to take.

Obviously, they will as usual twist what Trump says to represent some straw man slander.

No they can't.

The thing is, the states certified the election results. So unless the Supreme Court makes a ruling based on a legal challenge, or unless Congress determines that there was cause for delaying the final proceedings they did on jan6, I don’t know what options there are if states certified, courts rejected legal challenges, and Congress certified the states elector results. The real steal happened during the election (and leading up to it), but when states, courts and Congress failed to act, they are complicit in the steal.
5   Undoctored   2022 Dec 4, 10:24pm

Who’s quoting Trump here? Trump has got to be the most misquoted politician in history. He never advocated suspending or abrogating the constitution but that’s exactly what his opponents are constantly saying he plotted to do. So my guess is they are shamelessly taking this quote out of context and pretending that’s what he’s saying when he is absolutely not saying that. I would assume he’s saying that allowing massive fraud is itself tantamount to allowing the violation of the Constitution. I guess I should sign up for a Truth Social account to find out for sure.

@Undoctored please post a screenshot here if you find the quote.

SCOTUS won't get involved because the Electoral Count Act of 1887 gives them an out. They have ruled just that on previous attempts to get them involved.

"Fraud vitiates everything" is the English Common Law principle that if Fraud took place, everything has to go in reverse to the beginning point just before the Fraud.

Even if Corporate Documents, other aspects of law, even the Constitutional process has to be overridden (ie Electoral College vote)

I think that's what he's expressing.

Constitution is not superceded by common law. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Common law serves it, not the other way around.
11   clambo   2022 Dec 5, 6:03am

As shown above, Trump suggested 2 remedies: 1. Declare Trump the rightful winner 2. Have a new election=run off against Biden.

I don't see how suggesting a run-off is a real violation of the Constitution either.

Careful reading of Trump's post is key; but the RINOS, media, assorted losers and fags will paraphrase it and dimwits will swallow the bullshit.

Biden, Twitter, FBI, DNC, various governors like Newsom and others illegally meddled with an election; what is the remedy?

Uh...there is no constitutional provision for such. It's something he pulled out of his ass.

Electoral College votes for POTUS. And they already did. There's no 'redo'. Even if nobody wins a majority of EC votes -- in which case the House votes en banc until a POTUS is elected. And that is it.

At least he isn't calling for the military to stage a coup like was mentioned in what Patrick posted.
13   RayAmerica   2022 Dec 5, 7:02am

Obviously, when it comes to expressing himself, Trump is a loose cannon. It almost appears that he has some type of quirk in his personality that mandates that he
occasionally goes into self-destruct mode. This latest gaffe is just another example among many.

I'm too old to make the silly mistake of 'trusting' anyone that is associated with politics, and Trump is no exception. For quite a long time now, my voting philosophy has been to vote for the lesser of two evils. Having said that, I voted for Trump in 2016 and in 2020, although I had serious reservations in 2020 due entirely to his promotion of 'Operation Warp Speed.' Recall that Trump later claimed that, due to his efforts in connection to the 'vaccine,' 100 MILLION American lives were saved. He obviously actually believes this nonsense. What I feared prior to voting was this; would Trump mandate that ALL Americans must be vaccinated? We don't know. What we do know is that he enthusiastically owns the EXPERIMENTAL 'vaccines' and continues to support their use. (Of course Biden attempted all of that, and pretty much failed except for mandates for the military)

Whenever ANY politician talks about doing away with the Constitution, the alarms bells better go off. Those that have any hope of restoring this country should be tenacious in demanding that the Constitution be strictly obeyed, and not ignored.
14   Tenpoundbass   2022 Dec 5, 7:06am

The time Trump should have made that announcement, should have been the next morning after the 3am ballot drop, and the courts laughed in America's face and told us we had no standing in fraudulent elections. Then lawmakers were threatening criminalizing those that noticed the fraud.

This is what bothers me about Trump, it's not about what he says, it's about what he doesn't say at the time they need to be said the most. He loves saying things when it's least expected.

One interpretation is that the Masive Fraud essentially resulted in the termination of all rules, regulations and articles, even those found in the Constitution.
17   clambo   2022 Dec 5, 7:14am

I guess people here have forgotten that Trump was censored everywhere after he began to complain about the election steal.
I saw him on NBC when the asshole talking head actually cut his feed.
The Constitution itself says if we don't like something in it, it can be changed or amended.
Obviously a constitutional amendment making Trump president would not work.
Either way, I don't blame him for anything he has said or done; he is the only president to actually try to protect American workers and taxpayers.

After the fraudulent elections of 2020 & 2022, does anyone honestly believe that we will ever have an honest national election again?
19   Ceffer   2022 Dec 5, 10:50am

Our Hopium Fiction buddies at Real Raw News cite the ubiquitous 'General Berger' chiding Trump for his unkeyed comments on the Constution:
"WHITE HATS UPSET AT TRUMP'S COMMENTS ON THE CONSTITUTION"
https://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=212677
"White Hat commanders performed a collective face palm in response to Trump’s irresponsible idea, a source in General David H. Berger’s office told Real Raw News.

General Berger, who has helmed the White Hat partition of the U.S. military since January 2021, had cautionary words for President Trump when the two men spoke Saturday evening. The general told Trump he was treading a very slippery slope by even intimating sections of the Constitution—authored by the Founding Fathers to protect the citizenry from government overreach—should be carved out and whimsically trashed."

It can be changed by amendment, yes. Not having a 'redo' outside of the amendment process.
22   clambo   2022 Dec 5, 12:32pm

Trump made a comment and people are freaking out.
The constitution doesn't allow the governor of California to make the 2020 election vote by mail, but it happened.
The 14th amendment doesn't confer citizenship to children of illegal aliens, but they do it.
I say something should be done about the steal, but I don't know what can be done.

Yes it does. You're talking about the US Constitution, right?

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors.
.
.
.
The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

So if the State legislature defers/delegates to the governor or secretary of state or local election boards the executive power to do that, then it is constitutional.

If said officials usurp said authority themselves but the legislature doesn't give a shit, then that is likewise a (weaker) form of consent. Similar to how you can have a judgment ruled against you if you fail to show up at court to defend yourself from a creditor, for example.

Either way, the Election Act makes it clear that the federal courts are to stay out of it.

Don't rely on the courts to supply you with legislative relief for wrongs you think are going on to the body politic at large. For one thing, you don't want them to do it. See Roe v. Wade and Wickard v. Filburn for examples of that shit.

And what you are describing are problems that can only be remedied by the legislative branches.

I’m just hoping that Trump clears himself off the board, or follows his late ex wife into the Great Beyond thanks to the clot shot before the primaries so we can get someone reasonable for the GOP. Boomers and hardcore conservatives are in love with him and won’t countenance a replacement unless he self destructs. In my opinion, he’s a loose cannon whose time has passed. Sure it was fun to watch him rolling around on deck taking out bilge rats, and he didn’t get us into any new wars. But he can’t help being himself, and most of America doesn’t want him again. Trying to force him down Americans’ throats again will just lead to another Democrat POTUS and I really can’t handle more Biden or anyone associated with him.

I’d love some DeSantis tho. Just saying. That guy is smart and based and pro-active in all the ways that Trump was never equipped to be. He might be the best POTUS we’ve ever had.

Ok, instead of going with the MSM narrative of talking about what Trump said; perhaps we should start talking about crimes committed by the President, the intelligence services and the media.

Election interference, election fraud, and election tampering come to mind. I am certain that others will have a much more detailed list. Plainly the President, the intelligence community, and the DOJ conspired to commit crimes against the American voting public.

Where can people turn for justice, if not the military?
30   cisTits   2022 Dec 6, 6:25am

Now Trump is getting pushback on this in conservative media. The downside of populism.

Not to mention the hypocrisy of it all. A professor on a college radio program called for abolishing the Constitution years ago. His name was Barry Hopenchanger.

Don't you get it yet?

What Constitution does our government follow? For fucks sake, the FBI was having Twitter censor people directly. They stole the election, AGAIN just recently. There's massive surveillance on the entire population. You are being pushed in every way possible to take an untested, dangerous injection for a disease you have practically no chance of dying from. The government has shut down JUST small business for 2 years. The government engages in torture programs of POWs. Our press is completely propaganda now.

We don't have a Constitution - I mean, we do have one on paper, but fuck if anybody cares if our government follows it or not, because they don't.

Shaman most of what you are talking about was media projection. Where Trump said or did something totally appropriate, but then the medias all colluded to brainwash everyone into believing full heartedly that suggesting that America is Great is racist. Or somehow a jab at races, or he's picking on people that were trying to catch him in loaded Gotcha questions.

The real truth of the matter is, the media never gave Trump a chance to ware our patience with his antics. It wasn't Trump antics, but media antics they beat the hell out of.

Will you roll over and take it up the can, the next great leader comes along and the Media shits on him as well? Are you a slave dance monkey for the media now?
God Damn it, the establishment and the media says and does ten things that are tenfold outrageous than Trump ever said. They chip away at our democracy, republic, freedom and family values. Where do you draw the line? Snippy retorts from the Orange Man?

Nero Please!
