We know how much lawyers love to exploit abstruse technicalities to convince us they are anything other than schlemiels or con artists:

Remember that into the night session after Jan. 6 to confirm Biden Actor? It was white line law treason to ignore the challenges and NOT suspend for examination for a required ten days. It doesn't even require a determination of election outcome one way or another, and the offending CongressCritters can be escorted out under arms and all acts since that time nullified.

I seriously doubt it has legs, and perhaps SCOTUS is just holding it as a Sword of Damocles for the duration of the lame duck Congress and its ongoing treason and subversions. However, as commentators have noted, it is a huge shock that SCOTUS has even entertained the suit for consideration.
