Also I have my doubts about laser weapons. The primary problem is I think they are at 50% thermal efficiency. In other words, the laser itself has as much heat dumped into it as the target, given 100% absorption. Taking down small drones, sure, but not a tank.

The problem is size of the weapon itself. You might be able to vaporize a car, but the size of the weapon will be the size of a building.

We'll see. Russia is starting to showcase its newer technologies and tanks, after using up old inventory.
