Interesting take on it. So Democrats want to lose on an issue so that they have an issue to fight for.
The right place for abortion laws is at the state level, like the Constitution says. Anything not specifically in the Constitution is reserved to the states, right?
So even if RVW is overturned, some states would then have legal abortion, and people would just go there for their abortions. So it seems that that would reduce some of the Democrats' ability to get people fired up about it.

I'm concerned overturning roe v Wade would set precedent for mandatory jabs/vaxx passport.
By overturning roe v Wade, there goes my body my choice.

, the question is does a state have the authority to regulate and protect
If Trump runs for election, I expect SCOTUS to pull the trigger before March. Just so the Left and RINOS can start working everyone up into a panic.
RvW has always been established law, nobody in their right mind would have ever tackled over turning it. I don't think RvW was ever on Kavanaugh's mind.
However it was the number one issue the Democrats projected on him. Not only that, around the same time, just to be sure to pour gasoline on the fire. The Democrat establishment injected killing new born babies on the gurney after a conversation with the mother, about what to do with those clump of cells. That was totally uncalled for, and not necessary. For the life of me, I can never imagine, that would have ever been a sensible debate between two sensible people?
The Abortion issue is all the Democrats have, that and free shit. The Abortion issue is so "What have you done for me lately?" that they need it to be repealed, so they can get new inertia with a new generation to put women's rights, back front and center. Before Kavanaugh it was a dead argument. The only argument was whether tax payers should pay for all abortions or not. But Obamacare failed getting that done.
I fully expect RvW to be overturned, but I expect it's what the Democrats want/need.
