(Even though Biden could fly to Scotland and has been in Europe before as well, but they aren't going to risk him shitting himself on camera with Xi here, or over there)

Biden doing China's bidding was never in doubt. No need to have an actual meeting - Xi just has to email over his list of demands to Biden.
