In-N-Out Burger’s Chief Legal and Business Officer, Arnie Wensinger, is set to release a statement after the San Francisco Department of Health closed one of the Top California Burger Restaurant’s locations.

“Today, the San Francisco Department of Health closed our restaurant…” he wrote. According to Wensingers statement, In-N-Out Burger employees were allegedly “not preventing the entry of customers who were not carrying proper vaccination documentation.”

Beyond the famous California institution’s location “properly and clearly” posting signage to communicate local vaccination requirements, the SFDH has attempted to require In-N-Out Burger employees to act as health police and enforcement personnel for the city.

He explains, “After closing our restaurant, local regulators informed us that our restaurant Associates must actively intervene by demanding proof of vaccination and photo identification from every customer…barring entry for any Customers without proper documentation.”

Wensigner opened up further in the statement saying they are committed to the highest level of customer service & making all feel welcome.

We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant associates to segregate customers,” wrote Wensigner.

Yeah I'll just NOT FUCKING GO THERE FROM NOW ON! That's my response to places with vaccine mandates.

If grocery stores try to enforce this expect riots within 4 hours of beginning enforcement.

Last week I dropped a display case on my way out of a local grocery store when they refused to serve me w/o a mask. =)) Couldn't walk out with the goods w/o paying because I was buying a gift card and it needs to be loaded at the checkout.

Automan, In-n-Out did the right thing; they didn’t require customers to show them their vaccination card to enter the restaurant.
This enraged San Francisco which shut them down.
San Francisco is nuts.
As they used to say “the land of fruits and nuts”.

Must be the short list.

The San Francisco Department of Public Health told Newsweek that they informed the business about the requirement "multiple times" after receiving a complaint from the city's 311 service line. Health officials first visited the location on September 24 and provided information so the restaurant could comply with the order. When they returned on October 6, they found that In-N-Out had continued to violate the order. They issued the first notice of violation. "Since then, public health inspectors had attempted multiple times to bring the business into compliance with the health order. In-N-Out Burger had not complied by the time the final Notice of Violation and a Notice of Closure was issued," the department said in a statement.

You know this was someone who was (literally) butt-hurt about them printing scripture references on drink cups and packaging.

There’s going to be a ton of very Hangry In n Out customers! Maybe they should shutter that location for good. Open a new one outside city limits. A big old fuck you to Shit Francisco!
9   Patrick   2021 Oct 19, 7:31pm

The truly amazing thing is that the vaxx does nothing to stop transmission of the virus at all.

In fact, the more vaxxed people are, the more cases and deaths you see:

The city of Los Angeles, which is home to many In-N-Out locations, has similar guidelines going into effect starting Nov. 4.

I know they did, and with decades in customer facing work I am loath to blame store staff for policies I disagree with or take it personally. I meant I will avoid commerce entirely if things come down to a vax nanny in every store.

Why haven't more business's said the same? It's because they don't give a shit about their employees, or even the HUGE liability risk they take on(employee gets assaulted, sues business). It's because there is federal funding for business's to push these mandates.

In n Out not only did the right thing by their customers, they did the right thing by their employees. Getting some In n Out this week to say thanks, and because it's fucking delicious.

Well for one, a condition of having accepted "covid relief grant money" is following all laws, rules, and orders related to covid; otherwise that grant becomes a loan, due and payable right the fuck now.

In-n-Out is a family-owned business. They don't answer to a "board", "analysts" and the rest of that circus. Didn't take "covid relief" money from the gubmint, AFAIK. Most probably not stretched so thin that losing several restaurants would inflict a mortal wound.

The only thing I ever see stretch when it comes to In n Out is the drive-thru line. I used to live by the busiest one in the US(Chula Vista), but guessing whatever is still operating in the Bay Area will now take first place.

That was kind of clever of them, in a very evil way.

https://babylonbee.com/news/leftists-now-angry-that-in-n-out-wont-discriminate-against-people

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Leftists are outraged this week after a burger chain in San Francisco refused to discriminate against certain customers, instead treating everyone with equal respect and serving delicious food to all.

"We can't allow restaurants to serve unvaccinated individuals, as they are not actually human and therefore not entitled to human rights," said local human rights activist Xander Zinfandel. "We believe this to be the compassionate position, which In-N-Out is callously disregarding."

City officials looked on in horror as hundreds of unvetted individuals lined up around the store to enjoy In-N-Out's delicious burgers without producing their vaccine papers.

"NOOOOOOO! This is all wrong!" said City Council Chair Damien Goobfritz as he watched the horrific scene unfold. "Some of those people may be eating even though they don't deserve to! This is a disaster!"

San Fransisco was then forced to deploy a SWAT team to slap burgers out of everyone's hands and shut the restaurant down until they agreed to practice discrimination.

Yeah! Democrats think it’s a violation of basic human rights to require an ID to vote but want IDs to buy a hamburger. You can’t make this stuff up.

Perfectly logical: No voter ID allows fraud to keep the Dems in power. Requiring ID to buy a burger is exercising that power.

This could turn into a great signaling device or meme or whatever. Plus a way to show continued support for a business that makes a courageous choice. I am picturing customizing it with a Sharpie message "Let's Go Brandon" to drive the point.
I have to drive an hour to get me a double-double but I think I will pick up a T as well.

The shirts are available online. Both new and old designs, going as far back as early 90s.

That makes for a great fantasy play, but IRL you really have to manage optics carefully when doing this, so as not to make yourself and all of us skeptical of the covid vax get lumped as "Conspiracy antivaxx nutter" and dismissed with annoyance.

The people inside have already bought in to that store's requirements (however reluctantly), so "some guy having a public freakout at the door" isn't going to change any of their minds. Think in terms of addressing their self interests and winning their trust and buy-in to your point of view.

Saying something loudly might be one's only and best option, but what you say and how you say it during these opportunities makes a huge difference toward successfully resisting bad mandates.

No one likes wearing a mask. Bet.

I went maskless (as I have ALWAYS DONE everywhere I go) into a drugstore in Montgomery County Maryland about a month ago. The manager interrupted my phone call to tell me, not ask me, to put on a mask. I said "who says I have to wear a mask?" He said Montgomery County. I said fuck Montgomery County and fuck you. He followed me and commanded me to put a mask on. That was it, I went full fucktard. Called him a fucking Nazi and to fuck off. He couldn't believe I called him a Nazi...he was an Indian (Dot). I said, what, you think Nazi is only white? He ended up agreeing that the mask is bullshit. The drugstore didn't have what I needed so, I eventually left. Plenty of people were in the store at the time.

I guarantee if more people did this, no one would bother to approach a maskless person. Why do you think we saw all those videos about a year ago of maskless people being yelled at? It worked to get most to comply. I live in the bluest part of Northern Virginia and I've NEVER worn a mask into a store or restaurant. Well, one restaurant...it was my wife's and my anny.
