Walgreens will close five more San Francisco stores, a company spokesperson confirmed Tuesday, citing ongoing organized retail crime as the reason.

The closures are as follows:

2550 Ocean Ave. will close on Nov. 8 and will transfer prescription files to 1630 Ocean Ave.
4645 Mission St. will close on Nov. 11 and will transfer prescription files to 965 Geneva St.
745 Clement St. will close on Nov. 15 and will transfer prescription files to 3601 California St.
300 Gough St. will close on Nov. 15 and will transfer prescriptions to 2145 Market St.
3400 Cesar Chavez St. will close on Nov. 17 and will transfer prescriptions to 2690 Mission St.
“Organized retail crime continues to be a challenge facing retailers across San Francisco, and we are not immune to that,” said Walgreens spokesperson Phil Caruso. “Retail theft across our San Francisco stores has continued to increase in the past few months to five times our chain average. During this time to help combat this issue, we increased our investments in security measures in stores across the city to 46 times our chain average in an effort to provide a safe environment.”

The drugstore chain hopes to relocate employees from closing stores to other nearby locations.

San Francisco Board of Supervisor Ahsha Safai of District 11 said he was “devastated” by the loss of the store on Mission Street on Twitter, writing “I am completely devastated by this news - this Walgreens is less than a mile from seven schools and has been a staple for seniors, families and children for decades. This closure will significantly impact this community.”

Anyone continuing to live in the large west coast shitholes of Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles reap what they sow through idiotic voting.

A guy went on John and Ken yesterday and said the Cuty of Santa Monica has destroyed the 2nd street promenade. He said there is active prostitution, drug sales, and it’s an unsafe place to be. And the city of Santa Monica refuses to take action to correct that.

The sooner I get out of Commiefornia, the better. The suburb I live in is nice enough, but the communists have their sights set here and the Democrats are too blind to see it…. Or just don’t care.

When Rodeo Drive and Santa Monica Blvd. in Santa Monica were trashed by Antifa/BLM, you have to know that unless you have private security, the Hun are chafing at the gates and the Visigoths are breathing over the palace walls. They are going to need a lot of those black suited guys with Uzis in Beverly Hills.

In Venice where i lived as a poor student, there were always 'colorful' drugs and hippies. Now, from vids, it is more like the ghetto from hell with homeless, hookers, pimps, aggressive panhandlers. It looks like a real world 'Escape From LA' after dark. Vids show all the areas in West LA that I remember as posh and ridiculously affluent largely shuttered on the main boulevards.

Psaki – and by extension, the leader of the free world – believes that crime is out of control and people are stealing designer handbags because of Covid (or at least that's the story she's sticking with).

Not because of lockdowns that crippled the economy.
Not because of how the media and Democrats (sigh.. but I repeat myself) have enflamed racial tensions and blamed everything on wHitE sUpReMaCy.
Not because police departments have been defunded at the same time that crime has been legalized and the jails have been flung open.
Not because of cancel culture and suppression of rights and liberty.
Not because of a blind eye toward violent inner city crime, human trafficking, and the drug trade (including Big Pharma).
And most importantly, not because human nature is depraved and needs checks to ensure civilization doesn't collapse.
Nope, it's all Covid's fault!
