We've all been PLAYED, regardless of party affiliation. You can't say enough about controlled opposition. Trumps was a pied piper and played his role perfectly to stigmatize & de-legitimize any notion of populist nationalism. Its difficult to conclude that he was not in on it all along. There's just so many people who spent a fortune and parents who helped spend a fortune, seeing their $80k English BA work as an Office Temp for $11/hr or delivering Doordash for the same/more money with less hours put in.
Public Education is being called into question, once an idea only held by a minority of the US Population. And it's not just conservatives, but like college, increasingly generally held.
Most of all, the two-tier justice system has been revealed. We're about to get a final proof if Bannon is charged, while Eric Holder ignored subpeonas for years and years (it also showed the toothless controlled opposition the Republican Party is). To say nothing about charges dropped or wristslap fines for Antifa Arsonists, but solitary confinement for misdemeanors by 1/6ers.

Leftists always overreach, and this time, I think they made many errors in haste. Trump is a genius solely for his ability to invite aggressive attacks that ended up making institutions look ridiculous. People and Institutions did 180s, from the ACLU to Blue Checks, in record time, to be the opposite of Trump. If he did NOTHING during his Presidency but this, it was invaluable.
Religion (as a public value encouraged by greater society) is dead, Economic Socialism doesn't work and even it's alleged adherents are basically Anti-White Racists, Democracy has been depreciated (the Left and Liberals used to shriek about it, that and political speech being chilled by BOTH public and private actors), the only thing stopping the Left-Multinat Alliance is Nationalism.

Of course we all know that Trump supporters were duped into believing that there were going to be arrests and all of the baddies were going to be round up and carted off to the hoosegow, but it never materialized. But the Left had their hopium campaign going, and their Hopium campaign allowed the Rights Hopium campaign.
It was the very fake fabricated "oppo research". A term used heavily by the media to provide cover for Hillary's election and Federal crimes, not to mention the abuse of her power and connections in the State Department. Just look at the wiki entry on Opposition Research. All of the Trump admin, and his election campaign are all curiously missing. But they drone about real examples of opposition research, when it's done by the right. But make no mention of Hillary cooking up Bullshit soup and calling "research".
The Left's Hopium was believing that Trump was a Russian mobster being paid by Putin to take over America. For everyday we were glued to do nothing, go nowhere Congressional hearings, the Left were also glued to the TV watching and hearing the curated sound bytes on CNN and MSNBC. The left were expecting a bomb would be dropped that would give all of the made up investigations and trumped up acersions credibility and Trump family member would go to jail.
While they were watching expecting that, our Hopium fix was Lindsey Graham was really going to kick some ass and do something when he yelled at them and told them crimes had been commited and he was determineed to something about it. Of course nothing ever happened, and the Left never caught what transpired at those hearings. They were not watching the same hearing we were. They were watching Schiff and Nadler trying to breathe life into illegal unconstitutional dealings, by doubling down on Trump's Russia collusion. It's still their stand by when Trump bests them in his post presidency, they just write more lies about him and made up fantasies about Trump's ties to Russia.
They totally missed that every witness the Democrats carted out for their Kangaroo hearing was not only discredited, but incriminated more Left and RINO establishment swamp rats.
So the Left's take away was, too bad Trump might not being to jail. Totally oblivious to the Fascist abuse of Congress and many unelected officials.
While we got our hopes after every hearing that finally people were exposed and they would start going to jail .
The hearings all kicked off with the Left excited someone would go jail, then conclude with the Right getting excited about someone going to jail. .
It was all Kabuki theater doing a double feature back to back. Yin/Yang of two ideologies tossing around the Hopium ball.
