Hi,

Looks like Biden may have dug his own political grave, the way everything is unraveling in Afghanistan.

Will he be a 1 and done prez because of this - me thinks so. What do you folks think ?

Also, if Trump ain't getting prosecuted, he is prolly coming back for a second inning.

Thoughts ?

The press will praise him for pulling out. The same press that pilloried Trump for wanting to fo the same just a year or two ago.
2   Patrick   2021 Aug 13, 2:57pm

Right, I think there is no limit to the corruption of the corporate press.

Just look at the evidence of Biden's corruption, such as abusing the office of vice president to ensure Hunter's pay by Burisima in the Ukraine.

And the evidence of Hunter's corruption as documented on his laptop, such as taking bribes for his father in exchange for control over in US foreign policy.

And the people that watch the corporate press have no idea what is really going on. If someone documents the corruption and shows it to them, they will dismiss is as "racist white supremacist conspiracy theory".

Because to admit the truth would be very painful after pinning all their hopes on Biden as their "savior" from Trump.

Pulling out is the right thing to do. But Trump would have drawn a clear line in the sand that he'd carpet bomb the shit of the taliban if they tried any takeovers and oppression of peaceful folks. And that strategy works, less nation building, more deterrence.

He will be at the most 1 and done, but probably more like 1/2-3/4 and done, as his mental decline continues.

As I have said before... This is done to create a Hindooo or CCP like system , where people know that elites have immunity from justice as long as they align with dear leader.

Withdrawing from Afghanistan is the right thing to do. Trump was on that track, and would have made deals that ensured a more peaceful transition. Biden and his handler Obama are fucking idiots about international politics and have fucked it up badly.

At least we won’t be there anymore. Unless Biden pulls something else from his bag of unbelievably stupid tricks. Otherwise no matter what happens to Afghanistan, Americans won’t give two fucks. The only people who care about those sheep fuckers are defense contractors, and just because they love that sweet government cheddar.

I agree. Our only interest there should have been getting Osama, and we did that.

Let them have their country. It's not our problem.

In order to one and done you have to have actually won.

So, more like a zero and done for the corpse.

Look there are no pictures or video of fight.
They simply cannot imagine life without sheeps, opium and Taliban.

This place is leftist's and Muslims ultimate paradise. What are they waiting for to get in there. Every Muslim is force fed with pork in Uyghur occupied by China. Now Taliban welcomes China! Obviously China is doing something what US was unable to do. Its interesting to watch who is really running the show behind.
15   WookieMan   2021 Aug 15, 7:18am

I get concerned "why" Biden wanted to pull out so quickly (wish he did with Hunter). I know Trump was doing it as well, but I feel like something else is on the horizon. We didn't need anyone there in the first place. Where and what are these idle troops, contractors and generals going to go/do? I'm getting the vibe we're near entering a new conflict.

No predictions as to where, but Biden accelerating a Trump era policy is interesting. There really has been too much peace for the MIC over the last 3 or so years.

Well, Domestic Terrorisim is our NUMBER ONE THREAT.
Some of us wondered what they intended when they created the U.S. Northern Command in 2002. It indicated that the continental United States was being considered as a potential battlefield for the first time in our history.

Corporate press is a cheap presstitute. I wonder our presstitutes are any better than the presstitutes in China, ours are likely cheaper.

If domestic terrorism is our number one threat and since we are domestic, aren't we worse than Taliban because of the proximity?

Osama was the problem; there was no reason to stay in Afghanistan even for a day after his dead body was dumped in the ocean.

After losing American lives and dollars for 20 years, you STILL cling to this Rambo fantasy? The Russians had the sense to leave Afghanistan sooner.

I can still hear my A-hole brother in law 21 years ago as the second Gulf War was kicking off, loudly dominating my Niece's first birthday party with braggadocio about how "This is going to be such a CAKE WALK!" That, and "We're going to go in there and KICK THEIR ASS AND TAKE THEIR GAS! 50c a gallon soon thanks Bush!" He went on to become a huge prepper, Obama hater, Trump fellater, and QAnon deep diver, rich AF from having inherited a factory founded 3 generations ago, always bragging about hitting a grand slam having started on third base.

Luckily my Brother and SIL had the sense to never bring the two branches of the family together ever again. At minimum the turkey would have ended up in his lap one Thanksgiving.

If that actually happened.

Muslim Sea Burial is complete Bullshit. Vasco de Gama took Muslim pilots hostage, some of them died, their friends begged him to put onto an Island to bury their dead. Muslims are terrified of sea burials.

I personally think Osama died of his long fight with his kidneys around the time of the Afghanistan Invasion, and it was some imposter.

Yep. Just like no Democrat will ever admit Welfare King LBJ got us into Vietnam and Nixon was getting us out of it. They remember Operation Linebacker, but not Ia Drang.

Or that Welfare hasn't worked for 60 years. Or that Teachers are stupendously compensated in both salary and benefits, refuse and resist any measure of performance measurement, and are militantly opposed to any reform that doesn't involve even higher wages and benefits without a drop of accountability. Or that massive immigration waves result in stagnant wages and skyrocketing housing costs, particularly for the young and poor.

How the US military got rich from Afghanistan
From Korea onwards, falloffs in spending have lasted little longer than the parades for returning troops

For decades, Joe Biden has touted himself as a foreign policy genius. As a United States senator, he never had to make a decision or bear responsibility for running off at the mouth. As vice-president, he was given backwaters such as Ukraine that he reportedly turned into a family piggy bank.

But now he is president. He owns the utter disaster that Afghanistan has become; and the sudden about-face of the Pentagon to send 3,000 fully-armed combat troops back into the fray shows that even the woke military bosses Biden installed can wake up and smell the coffee.

Would Donald Trump have done this differently?

Remember that Trump fired Ambassador John Bolton as national security advisor when Bolton openly rebelled against Trump’s decision to negotiate a peace agreement with the Taliban.

Trump’s deal set a firm withdrawal date for U.S. combat troops — May 1, 2021.

Afghanistan President Flees Country as Taliban Enters Kabul
BY JACK PHILLIPS August 15, 2021

Afghanistan’s president, Ashraf Ghani, on Sunday fled the country as the Taliban terrorist group surrounded the capital, Kabul, according to a senior official, while the Taliban claimed hours later that it entered the presidential palace.
32   Ceffer   2021 Aug 15, 10:42am

I dangle the thought that Trump set Biden up on this one. It goes back to theory that Biden does not control the military. If Biden et alia did control the military, they would never have pursued the policy of withdrawal. The neocons and the oligarchs would have never countenanced a withdrawal. Withdrawal was embarrassingly imposed by the Trump era dictate that the withdrawal was already in place and was going to happen with or without toothless Biden.

Clearly, the US military 'occupation' was already in bed with the Taliban in a frenemy way on many levels, kind of like a controlled opposition alliance. The gross appearance of botch rather than plan is fucking up Biden's imperial fraud regime. Who knows if Trump and military set it up this way, since there was already the commitment to leave.

"Afghan President Flees, Biden Blames Trump For The Fall Of Afghanistan"

Is this Biden essentially admitting in spluttering rage that he has never had control of the military? MSM Fake Media and Biden hopelessly struggle to make it appear that he has control? How could he possibly blame anything on Trump if he were in control. LOL! Fuck Biden!

You completely misread the issue. This has nothing to do with Rambo fantasies. It has to do with the fact whether you consider yourself a decent human being if you're aware of blatant human rights violations. The reason we never had WW3 was because mutually assured destruction deterrence works. We're not here to nation build but most of the time you can tip the scale in favor of those who are oppressed without building your own nation, but just enough so that everyone respects each other and get along as much as possible. The Russians tried to nation build and failed, same for us, doesn't mean you don't have to be dick and not care about others. Maybe you don't step in if you're neighbor is being raped or otherwise brutalized, but it's a good thing that some do. Deterrence sans nation building and permanent ground troops works, Trump proved it.
38   mell   2021 Aug 15, 11:51am

Oh and I actually supported Gulf War one, simply because an ally of the US had clearly been attacked and if you don't honor contracts (doesn't matter whether we like the Kuweitis or not) you have the same lawlessness as that of the leftoid regime currently installed in the US. I don't like the Bushes, but Bush Sr. did what the US had to do, then pulled out. W pissed all over his Dads measured approach and started an illegitimate war.
39   Ceffer   2021 Aug 15, 12:29pm

LOL! Is this the mewling of a castrated cow of a President? How can he blame Trump for anything when he is supposed to be in charge of the military? Thank God and Trump. I always thought that if Biden had the military, their boots would already be on our necks to complete the KommieKunt destruction of our country.

"Then, the White House statement goes on to blame President Trump for the Taliban conquering the majority of the nation in only days.

“I inherited a deal cut by my predecessor,” the statement explains. “Shortly before he left office, he also drew U.S. Forces down to a bare minimum of 2,500.” Biden then suggested that he considered a plan to send more American troops to Afghanistan, which according to the White House, would have been to “ramp up our presence and send more American troops to fight once again”."
