The most cited scientist of all time, pretty much. A brilliant mind. MD, and professor of epidemiology, public health and evidence-based medicine. My edited version cut down from his 2 hour lecture.

And he lays this one bare – don’t miss it!

Thanks @Patrick, I will listen to his lecture. He is a highly decorated scientist, as can be seen below. I advise our more liberal Patnetters to listen him because SCIENCE!

Our more conservative Patnetters should realize that there are many honest scientists out there (probably MOST of scientists are honest), but they are silenced by MSM and social media.

This guy probably has more awards, achievements, and citations than most amateurs who scream about DEATH! FROM! CORONA! taken together.

I am speechless. How could be be so fucking stupid?

Thanks, Patrick. Very low risk, in the range of flu or less, if you are healthy. If you are elderly, in a nursing home with pre-existing conditions, the risk is higher.

Fauci is, at the least, out of touch, and at the worst, a murdering prima dona. Biden is a brain dead mumbling head.

It's all abut fear, control, and misleading the sheeple who crave someone telling them what to do.

When you find yourself in a hole, quit digging, but this is the opposite of what the Democrats are doing.

Stanford debunked all of this stuff since early 2020 by using serum testing of samples of populations to see who already had Covid (different from fake PCR testing). Those 'inference' tests can indicate how many in a population have been exposed and generated antibodies, but can't say when they were exposed or how, so they offer no time line. Because these epidemiologists and public health figures from Stanford have preserved their honor, I was surprised that the rank and file authoritarians at Stanford are still mandating vaccine passports for students and faculty. If I were them, I would strike.

listened to most of it...I don't agree with all of what he says as he is covering his ass sometimes, but overall seems quite reasonable.

I found some of his stances a bit questionable as well. Such as how he "believed" masks still work, even after referring to a study that showed they didn't and admitting the writers of that finding received death threats for their efforts.

I watched several of the scientists last year who were baffled and were proceeding along the lines that they were dealing with honorable people doing honorable things and that everybody would figure it out and do the right thing based on reason. Then, I watched them get more stressed and afraid. Some just stopped posting stuff. They finally figured out they were dealing with the nexus of Globalist evil who would get them fired, remove their grants, and attack their licenses if they didn't toe the terrorist line.

I'm surprised he went as far as he did in this video. He is inviting those threatening phone calls in the middle of the night and those mysterious rebukes from his superiors in his workplace. The mask shit is utterly ludicrous, and is nothing more than a ritual humiliation of the populace for the glee of the Globalists dick heads. Ioannidis knows this full well which shows he has not been unscathed by the threats. I notice he tries to soft shoe the findings, too, rather than just stating it's all a fucking fraud.

I was pleased that he recognized that the response to COVID is totally out of proportion to the actual risk it poses.

I was nonplussed that he somehow tied COVID to racial injustice and inequality.

I was enraged to find him just another centralized planner who views COVID as an excellent opportunity to "fix" the masses of their dirty habits ... ie... smoking and obesity.

This guy may be right on the science but he should not be allowed within a mile of public policy making.

Best comment on masking I've seen.

A friend of mine, virologist, said that he will not touch the "covid shit" with a 1000-foot pole, since it is too politicized and grant- and reputation-wise it is a loss/loss proposition for his research group.

I noticed this bullshit too.

But at least he points out that the lockdowns caused way more harm than good.

...the man who I call the Stephen Hawking of medicine is Professor John Ioannidis from the University of Stanford. The reason I call him the Stephen Hawking of Medicine is he's the most cited medical researcher in the world and is a mathematical genius. In 2006, he published a paper which was entitled why most published research findings are false. In that paper, he makes a point that the greater the financial interests in a given field, the less likely the research findings are to be true.

I say this in context of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine which has made the company $100 billion. The other point that he makes in a further paper in 2017 is, again, the reason the system continues as it is is most doctors are unaware of the information they receive when they make clinical decisions has been corrupted by commercial influence.
