Not only that, But they absolutely make sure we all know that they are doing it.
They want people to feel as powerless as in communist nation to exercise the level of control they want.

It just wouldn't matter at all how much Trump won by. They would simply break the law and say he didn't.

The big crime here is that act is specifically not illegal, as Congress members exempted themselves from insider trading laws.
