I lived 10 minutes from NYC. Guiliani eliminated the mob's influence throughout NYC, cleaned up the entire city, made it safe, and laid the groundwork for 20 years of prosperity there. They unwound all of that and hate his guts. NYC deserves to collapse on it's own ignorance.

I think it probably required an Italian like Giuliani to clean up NYC, because he has some cultural knowledge that others may not.
