Target Patton, written by Robert K. Wilcox and published by Regnery Press, runs over 450 pages, with an extensive bibliography and nearly 700 footnotes. The many years spent by the author on this project are clearly reflected in the contents, which include numerous personal interviews and the careful analysis of an enormous amount of primary and secondary source material. I’ve seldom encountered so detailed and seemingly exhaustive a work of investigatory journalism, quite understandable given the explosive nature of the charges being made. And yet the expose had never reached readers of the American mainstream media.

I personally found the evidence for Patton’s assassination quite persuasive, even overwhelming, and any curious readers can currently order the book for as little as $2.93 plus shipping and judge for themselves.

Wilcox himself had been just as shocked as anyone else when he first encountered the surprising claims, but the initial evidence persuaded him to invest years fully researching the theory before publishing the results. Some of his major findings seem quite telling.

In the months before his death, Patton had become a powerful critic of the American government, its conduct of World War II, and its policy toward the Soviets. He planned to resign from the military after returning to the U.S. and then begin a major public speaking tour against America’s political leadership; as one of our most celebrated war heroes, his denunciations would certainly have had a huge impact. His fatal car accident took place the day before his scheduled departure home, and he had narrowly escaped death twice before under very strange circumstances.

What an unfortunate, poor, brutal psychopath.

He thought we might have fought on the wrong side after taking over Germany. That didn't go with the narrative of the victors so he was killed.

Harry Dexter White and others on McCarthy-Cohn's shitlist turned out to be guilty AF, as proven by released Soviet Records in the 1990s. HD White was the first Chief of the World Bank. And of course there is the Cambridge Five in UK circles as well. Commie infiltration was deep on both sides of Atlantic.

Thanks @Patrick, ordered the book "Target: Patton"

Communism is a blunt object to be used against populations, the wielder matters not.

Book so far - There's a guy named Bataza, who described how he and an "Eastern European" set up the accident. However, while some parts of the guy's outrageous life (Marines, Hobo, OSS Op) are verified, a lot of it is over the top and I'm not convinced. The argument is that nobody in the top Allied Command - from Eisenhower, Bradley, Turcott (Eisenhower's Aide), and Beetle Smith - along with British High Command including Montgomery - liked Patton, and wanted him gone, out of both jealousy, political disagreement, and his blunt talk (often repeated w/o context by reporters - his actual statements were nuanced, but selective quoting by Pressfucks...).

However, NO REPORT OF PATTONS ACCIDENT EXISTS. According to the Author, there were 4 referenced in and around the time of Patton's death, including the MP Report. None of these are located in any archive - DoD, Library of Congress, National Archive. This was confirmed by other biographers of Patton, including D'este and Farago (the latter's book inspired the Movie). We know that at least one Reporter for the Stars and Stripes, and at least one civilian reporter, had access to the Initial Accident Report in the days immediately following it.

Patton did not die of the accident. He recovered, his bags were packed, he was set to leave the hospital straight for an aircraft to return to the states in 24 hours, then suddenly he got embolisms which killed him.

Also, and I didn't know this, the historical consensus is that "Wild Bill" DONOVAN was a British Agent, suborned by Sir Stephenson.

Donovan's codename in British Intelligence? - wait for it -

was "Q".

Patton banished Beatle Smith or any of his lackeys from entering his room. He expressed concern that somebody could mess with the IV, although he joked with Doctors about feeling a draft on his open skull. Both the Driver Woodruff and his fellow passenger General Gay had only minor lacerations and bruises; Patton had the same, except for a severe neck injury.

The Two MPs that arrived on the scene within minutes were strangely reticient when interviewed by Farago. One became a Virginia House of Burgess member (Balabas) but was removed for bribery. He was promoted to Captain two weeks after Patton's death - while allegedly "unassigned" the whole previous part of the year. No record of his service for him or the other first responding MP, both of whom were officers were conveniently located and heard the "Sound of a crash". No punishments for the allegedly "Drunk" Truck Drivers, whom accounts were on the side of the road and only got going after Patton's Green Cadillac came into view.

Just weeks before the accident, Patton was attacked in Bavaria as one member of a flight of two L-5s Observation Planes by Spitfires. The nearest of which were hundreds of miles away in Northern Germany (UK Zone) and out of aerial range to be UK or Free Polish Spitfires. However, the Russians had lend-lease Spitfires.

Yeah, Patton was killed by Donovan and/or the NKVD working together.

Note that Patton was privately wealthy - his father was an extremely successful businessman - and paid his own network of informants.
