Moreover greed based conversion is failed exercise. You can't buy "faith" .. To win hearts you need to serve.
In the long term "missionaries" are biggest enemy of Christianity as they cheapens the message of "Jesus Christ".

You have to give credit to Hindoooos for successfully defeating Christianity in India.
Christinaity can still win true followers by "being force for good" and not "conversion machine", which it has become to some extent or "made it to be" by Hindoooo elite(some frequent threads here).

It is not that Indian churches are without their problems. But Dilip Mandal is wrong to use proselytisation as the yardstick to measure Indian Christianity.

India and Pakistan are similar in terms of "healthcare spending" and infrastructure.

I remember reading an article about how donations to Somalia actually caused more people to starve to death, not fewer.

The problem was that donations of food would be confiscated at the port by one armed faction or another, and then sold in the cities to get money to buy weapons to continue the war.

In the end, the war was actually funded by donations from the West, and many more people died because of it.
