I haven't been following all that closely, but I think he gets off. (Mostly peaceful) riots to follow... 😞

I gave up on things happening the way I think they should.

I hang the over/under line at 85% for acquittal or mistrial and 15% conviction on something (lay -850 for acquittal, take +150 for conviction). My money line on riots and property destruction no matter what the trial's outcome is -5000 for riots and +200 for nothing to happen.
3   GNL   2021 Apr 19, 7:00pm

I hope for an acquittal. Mostly because TPTB have done everything they could to influence the outcome. He is being railroaded imo. It seems he followed his training. Who, exactly is in charge of police training anyway? Don't elected officials have a say? If so, THEY are the guilty ones imo.

Now, about the female cop who accidently shot that guy. I hope she gets found guilty of something. If you or I made a mistake like that, what do you think would happen to us? Cops should not have qualified immunity.

If Chauvin is acquitted, it proves we live in a racist, White Supremacist state that needs wokey.

Maxine Water's visit to Minneapolis this weekend (when the jury was at home) was engineered to school the 50% non-white jury with exactly what was expected and what was at risk. They would surely be doxxed and their lives would be ruined with an acquittal.

I think cops should be trained to call in the K9 guys if they don’t have the ability to cuff a perp.

They need something, Floyd was at least 6-foot-4 and weighed 230 pounds. The largest police officer on the scene was Chauvin, coming in at 5-foot-9 and 140 pounds.

Need pit bull k9 so it's not racist.

Not so sure. It was a rather weak defense. Though that might be because they got one juror they recognized as an advocate and get a hung jury. I've got $100 on it with my buddies dad, but I don't think the defense did all that well. I'll probably lose.

I also haven't watched much myself. From reports though I felt it was kind of a weak defense. We'll see. He won't be guilty on all charges and riots will break out anyway this case breaks. They'll charge him with something. Even if it's all guilty, it's just verification that BLM was "right" and they'll riot anyway. This is a 100% lose lose situation. Get your guns ready if you live in a city either way. Sad we have to live this way.

Orchestrated by the powers that be to further divide us by ideology. Enabled by the media. Many Floyd supporters don't know he overdosed.

I think the use of K9s and batons has been reduced or eliminated because of supposed "racist connotations" they allegedly invoked. The need to use chokeholds and judo neck pressure has arised because the good old "hit them in shoulders and thighs with a batton" method of achieving compliance has been eliminated.
13   Ceffer   2021 Apr 20, 8:51am

Hung jury. Like, literally, a hung jury. Survivors will need to move away.

A Minnesota lawmaker introduced legislation to punish any person convicted of crimes in connection with a protest by making them ineligible for state government assistance — including food stamps, student loans, unemployment benefits and health care.

They will run around it by shuffling thugs between states.

Riots can easily be avoided. Will the limp dick Democrat Mayors take the necessary actions to avoid riots? Probably not. But they can easily be avoided by mobilizing the national guard and stopping this Peaceful Protestor tm bullshit.
17   Ceffer   2021 Apr 20, 9:26am

I didn't think there would be that much riot because the return on investment for the Soros KommieFucks didn't seem to be there.

I guess every day is a good day to have an excuse to break into stores and steal.

That is quite likely. In every sense of the term. The trial coverage more resembles a Lynch mob than any sort of objective reporting.

And yet, there’s oceans of reasonable doubt in play. All it’s going to take is one juror who is stubborn enough to buck the Narrative, or maybe just one juror who is sick of BLM riots destroying their city

This is why I made the bet. I have a name that could be said 3 ways. He gave me the childhood name. That's when I knew he didn't know he OD'd. So proposed the bet.

Unfortunately I'm not a fan of how the defense presented the case. Although I don't know how someone can convict the guy with the precluding evidence, video and knowing his death was an OD. You can't put another person behind bars for basically the rest of their life on an unknown. Floyd could have died in the back of the squad car. Not sure the prosecution proved that or that he wasn't going to die anyway. This one is tricky.

Ultimately the jury will be guilted into convicting him on everything and I'll owe $100. The money is nothing. What scares me more is the media. You're no longer innocent until proven guilty. The media just makes you guilty. The coming cop shortage is going to be staggering.

And the cops who remain on the force will be very reluctant to arrest Black perps.

Looks like jury intimidation worked.
22   FortwayeAsFuckJoeBiden   2021 Apr 20, 12:42pm

25   MAGA   2021 Apr 20, 1:46pm

I think he is going to get off. Riots at 11. There is a reason for the reading of the verdict to be delayed. They want to get the police and National Guard in place.

Let Minneapolis burn as long as the suburbs stay safe.

I just saw this bit of news.

https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2021/04/20/derek-chauvin-jury-reaches-verdict-george-floyd-death-trial/

Golly, I just don't know. We will find out soon enough, but before we do, can anyone give some insight into a jury only deliberating for 11 hours and reaching a verdict? Does that lean toward acquittal or conviction?
28   RC2006   2021 Apr 20, 2:08pm

Trial should be thrown out after Maxine waters and Biden's comments.
29   richwicks   2021 Apr 20, 2:11pm

Chavin was just found guilty on 2nd and 3rd degree murder charges.

This is what you get when you allow your government to allow criminals walk, and innocent people to be convicted - for decades.

Lack of granting request for change of venue, jury intimidation, and even old Joementia chimed in today expressing his wish that the “right” verdict will be reached.
39   RC2006   2021 Apr 20, 2:37pm

Judge said defense was handed lifeline by Waters. Politicians and mobs can't be allowed to control courts this blatantly.
40   Ceffer   2021 Apr 20, 2:47pm

It'll be overturned on appeal. The judge and the defense were clearly setting it up that way, get some distance from the contaminated venue.
