A few years ago I had some enlightening conversations with young Black men that were in my charge. They were misdemeanor offenders from Oakland and I was working with them in Marin county. Anyway, one idea that we explored was the Scenario of the Rude Waitress. If I encounter a rude waitress I just dismiss her as a bitch. If they encounter the exact same situation might they interpret her behavior as racism? They really engaged with pondering it, which I found very encouraging. One thing that I found interesting was that I was told several times that many of these guys had never had real conversation, like we were having, with a White adult that wasn’t a vice-principal or cop or probation officer talking about trouble they were in. They seemed so receptive and not defensive at all. Or maybe talking to me was better than doing the work we had to do, and they were just hustling me……

The entire Black population is being indoctrinated that every mean waitress and every other less than pleasant interaction with the White world is only and always Racism.

The entire population is being trained into victimhood. My kids come home from school and try to play the victim all the time. It's up to parents to instill in their kids that this type of behavior is almost guaranteed to lead to a shitty life of underperformance. I have 2 uncles that never worked a day in their life. One day, they woke up, and they were 50, and blamed everyone for their failures.

This is exactly the point I've been trying to emphasize with people these past few years. My experience is white liberals disagree with me the most on this point, although I must concede it's possible that when I make this point to a non-white, they may feel pressured to agree with me in ways a white wouldn't, because racism can be a touchy subject when the discussion is being had between races.

But anyway, the propaganda seeks to teach people that:

When it comes to racism or identity, IF
1) a negative interaction occurs between people
2) and one side is white, the other side non-white

...then raycism. One should abandon all rational thinking, and never explore the possibilities that may have led to the interaction, because it's obviously raycist, and a waste of time.

White man didn't tip the waitress? Must be raycist, instead of the painfully obvious, most likely reason - bad service.
White man didn't give a raise to his brown employee? Must be racist. No possibility that the employee may not deserve a raise, or is already highly paid, or any other explanation.

In fact wokeness seeks to disparage the people who still bother to think rationally. If you don't jump to the conclusion of raycism, then you too are probably raycist and hate brown/black people.

I agree that there is hope though, because making this point does seem to make people scratch their head a bit. I like to add some other things to it to really get their gears turning:
- notice how news and political media source constantly talk about race 24/7, and how they report racially inflammatory things.
- now play a fun game with media and web pages - replace every instance of the word "white" with the word "black", and then ask yourself if the headline, statement etc.. would still be acceptable.

Oh also, I once had a white liberal tell me this was my white privilege to be able to know that people are just being rude, while blacks are burdened with the constant wonder of if its just rudeness or racist.

I respectfully reminded him that people can be racist to whites too, and his statement was ironically an example of that. He seemed to see the error of his statement.

The perfect indefensible Catch-22.
I suppose there are a lot of reasons this is being implemented right now but the fear of a rapprochement and of a coalition between poor blacks and poor whites terrified the plutocrats since the Reconstruction.

My dog acts victimhood, pathetic-ness and deprivation to get scraps from the table. It's cuckoo bird shit. It's an indicator that a species survives from another species bolstering it up.

One of the principal indoctrinators giving pointers in identifying micro-aggressive racism in everyday life.
Michelle Obama:
“When I’ve been completely incognito during the eight years in the White House, walking the dogs on the canal, people will come up and pet my dogs, but will not look me in the eye. They don’t know it’s me. That is so telling of how white America views people who are not like them, like we don’t exist. And when we do exist, we exist as a threat. And that’s exhausting.”
(Absurdly implausible you say? Doesn't fucking matter!)

Yes I tend to agree with the point you are making.

The default position has become racism, when in doubt, it’s racism - a terrible belief for young black youth to possess growing up.

This.

Maybe the right answer is in fact an explicit rapprochement and of a coalition between poor blacks and poor whites against the plutocrats.

I agree, that's a good way forward.

Also excellent for inspiring critical thinking.

Maybe the George Carlin monologue about how our owners absolutely do not want critical thinking could be the basis for a political party.

There is an Irish phrase "an béal bocht" which means "the poor mouth", making an expression of pathetic-ness in order to get something from someone. Amazing that even dogs do it.

Yeah, it's not like the Secret Service detail behind her gives her identity away. Bull fucking shit.

The way to know that Americans have been indoctrinated is to hang around some blacks from foreign countries and compare their reactions to situations.

I’m in S. Florida and have socially interacted with 1. American 2. Haitian 3. Jamaican who were black

The Americans are suspicious of the motives of non blacks and sensitive.

I once went to the local fancy mail with two sisters and one little “menace”.
We went into Victorias Secret and they were interested in the cheap fragrances on the wall.
They didn’t peruse lingerie and the cashier was ringing people up from etc.

The little brat would grab the fragrance stuff and the sisters chose the crap they liked.
I paid for both and outside one commented that “nobody came to assist us”
She attributed it to a racist staff.
She was wrong of course, nobody needs assistance deciding on a 9 dollar spray.
I also mentioned that little kids are rare in the store and probably kept people away from us.

I have other examples.

All my experience is with "African Americans" so I really can't say, but there are at least some Black immigrants that don't feel the crushing oppression of Being Black in America. I love this chick spitting back at white BLM protesters.

Ironic that the guy in the above cartoon has a shirt with an image of an overt anti-Black racist.
