You could also look at states that were fully locked down and the timing when mask mandates kicked in.

Numbers were dropping without masks and then the mandates kicked in and numbers steadily increases to our recent peak in December.

Hyper masking states with good weather and UV like CA kept increasing. I’m still convinced that droplets on surfaces and adjusting you mask constantly and then continually breathing in that viral load is worse than no mask.

And if they say science, just remind them about lobotomies and things like blood letting. Those were all science at one point. That’s the most frequent response from a masker that is willing to have an honest discussion.

no, I don't think so. And these vaccines do decrease your chance of contracting corona. So this is arguing about semantics, better find something they are lying about and present that, like "masks should be work because they help"<----no they don't, or "corona is extremely deadly"<-----no it is not, CDC has numbers on its website, I referenced them a few weeks ago, corona is about as deadly as regular flu for people below 50.

On a side note. Martinez seems to be open for business. My wife and I just went for a bike ride through town and there were 3 (THREE) live bands. They close some of the roads downtown and set up tables. All the restaurants have outdoor diners unmasked in the middle of main street. Mid 70's and sunny. It's MORE crowded than it was before the Wuhan! The dancing ladies are out and the microbrew is flowing.

So you're following an anti science cult? Masks below N95 don't work, the science says so indisputably. And even N95 and above you have the issue if taking them on amd off and fitting them tightly otherwise you're back to square one. And even then N95 provides modest protection only. The studies are everywhere, if surgical or cloth masks would stop the spread of any airborne virus with statistical significance, they would be advertised as such and much more expensive.
