Actor probably can't see as well as he could and can't twist his neck too much, so he looks down to see where he is going and stiffly moves forward, trying to make it look like a more aged person. However, he runs up stairs with agility and salutes like a military person. Minimal personnel present keeps fewer 'in the loop' of the mask deception. Obviously cgi'd reporters and 'microphones'.

Maybe everything was real except the microphones. Someone decided the video seemed weird with a reporter voice coming from off-screen and Biden responding to someone off-screen. So, someone inserted the microphones into the foreground to give the reporters a visual presence.
That said, the rest of the video could have been carefully staged in a way possible for the last 100 years... His handlers could have held him upright while everything was getting set up. Then Biden stands still for 10 seconds while the handlers scatter out of camera sight. Cameras start rolling, and Biden slowly walks 20 feet forward, an off-camera reporter asks a pre-determined question, and Biden delivers a pre-determined one-line answer. In that case, the only outright fake was the CGI microphones.

Disinformation (real information mixed with false information to disguise the real) has all kinds of theories of masks, body doubles, holograms, and even clones. The holograms and clones are far fetched, but body doubles and masks have been used throughout history. It is said that Langley has some very convincing mask technology AKA Mission Impossible. They can effectively respond to the movements of facial muscles. I would love it if somebody would run up to 'fake Biden' and give his hair a good yank to pull the mask off.

The depth still looks off though, but not horribly. The subtle shadow of his hand on the top of the mic looks about right, and if you compare the mic positions from both vid angles they match up. Also, the shadow from his hand is present in both vids at the correct times. Try skipping through 1 frame at a time (use , and . keys).
It might be the video compression algo. Many edges in all these videos look blurry, especially when the foreground edge is moving fast. I think this compression side effect is just manifesting very oddly on the fuzzy edges of the mics + his hand.

I've watched this a number of times at this point. It is plausible that this could be explained by foreshortening and video compression. I can't be arsed to diagram out the scene, because even if faked this video alone isn't of much consequence, but the short bus mic holders had them all over the place. The black one was near the President's nuts at one point, and the gray one was almost behind him and several feet to the side of him.
Biden's first press conference on the 25th is what I'm waiting to see. If it's all a chimera, that'll be do or die time.

I showed the video to my wife and the first thing she noticed was Biden’s hair. It looked like a fuzzy crop job to her, and totally didn’t match the lighting of the scene. Basically the lighting of Biden was completely wrong for a daylight appearance. Perfectly matches a studio appearance though!

I just don't like what I'm seeing. For months Trump was doing an almost daily presser on Covid. Biden ripped him for a poor response and now that he's in the office he doesn't fucking talk. Doesn't answer questions because there's no one there to ask them. It's truly bizarre.
The most stark contrast I've noticed is ALL of Biden's scripted speeches, they physically look nothing like Trumps. The lighting is the biggie. It really does feel like it's being done on a set. Even if it was at the White House, I don't need 4k video and well lighted speeches being paid for with our tax dollars. This isn't a sweaty Nixon v Kennedy debate. If anything people want less detail of these fucks.
