They approach politics from the populist side, representing both left and right. When you look at policy through the lens of “which policies serve the people best” it turns out that neither party is all that great. And they dunk on both sides as deserved. I don’t always agree with either one of them, but they do serve a role in waking people up to the fact that it’s not R vs. D as much as it is the rich vs. the rest of us. Currently the rich elites are broadly represented by Democrats, though some didn’t get the memo and still think they’re Republicans.
